“Will definitely return.”
Excellent staff and wonderful breakfast. Old money stylish hotel in the heart of the magnificent Villa Borghese gardens about 20 minutes gorgeous walk from the Spanish Steps.

“Aldovandi Hotel”
Superb hotel, extremely friendly staff. Only drawbacks no coffee/tea in room and only onsite restaurant Michelin star at over £100 per meal per person.
“Excellent hotel”
We stayed at the Aldrovandi 3 nights and were upgraded to a Deluxe room. Spacious room, excellent service from all the staff who provided us with tips whenever needed, excellent breakfast with fresh products. We really appreciated the shuttle going from and to the Spanish steps every 30 minutes. The only negative comments would be that some rooms - ours included - have a view on the back parking, as well as the breakfast room, and that only some small wooden cabins were available to change at the pool instead of some real changing rooms equipped with showers.
“BEAUTIFUL HOTEL”
This hotel is wonderful place to stay away for all the busy attractions. There's a nice pool at the hotel. Get up early for prime seats. The staff would wonderful!!!
“Wonderful hotel.”
This is our twelve visit to the Aldrovandi. Friendly and helpful staff.It is great to have a swimming pool in the summer. Only negative the breakfast is expensive and limited if not included in your rate.
“Un jardin a Rome”
Petit week-end à Rome à la dernière minute...formidable bien que pluvieux. L'hotel est un écrin de calme hors du temps. Nous avions demandé une chambre sur cour. Charme un peu desuet mais cossu et confortable. Un grand +, la gentillesse et serviabilité du personnel, un autre le restaurant le baby, encore un autre avec le buffet du petit dejeuner. Nous n'avons pu essayer la piscine: mois de décembre oblige. Dans les moins: un peu excentré, ce qui en fait son charme, fait que l'hotel n'est pas a distance à pied du centre ville; la navette de l'hotel y remédie en partie. La chambre est un peu vieillotte, - mais d'une propreté remarquable, avec une sdb spacieuse - mais cela nous a plutot charmé. Globalement nous sommes tres heureux de notre séjour. Nous étions partis pour nous reposer tout en visitant Rome, l'hotel nous a permis d'optimiser notre détente.
“High quality”
the only thing I would complain about is the check in - my room was not ready until late in the afternoon which was very annoying. I arrived at 2pm, had to wait until 2.30pm and because nothing was happening I had to leave for a business meeting. One evening (around 7pm) I came back to my room and it was half cleaned but when I came back after diner (around 9pm, the room was finally finished). The rest was really good
“10 out of 10 and one not to miss out on when in Rome!!”
Initially booked this hotel for its high ratings and swimming pool. I took on board a review that the shuttle was busy and that it wasnt as central as other hotels, causing some inconvenience. I have to say I regard our family as world travellers and thus can without any hesitation state this hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The rooms were spotless, towels were replaced twice a day (even on the last day!). The staff couldnt help any more than they did and their service came with a genuine smile. The shuttle was excellent, to the point of actually going off route to a few places to save our legs! We stayed at the height of the season but there was never a problem with space in the shuttle, around the pool or in the restaurants. All in all an excellent hotel which we cannot rate more highly. Certainly think it was worth staying that little bit out of the centre (5 mins by Shuttle) to allow us to relax next to the quiet pool after sightseeing. We will definately be back!!
“Lovely hotel - beautiful setting”
The Aldrovandi Palace proved to be an excellent choice of hotel. It is in a beautiful position within the famous Borghese Gardens and within walking distance of the major sights. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. With an award winning restaurant looking out onto the hotel garden and pool, our stay was delightful. I would definitely return.
