“Great Hotel!”
Very nice, small, and clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent location - 5 min walk to Vatican. Unbelievably low price.
“hotel adriatic , bien situé proche du vatican , et de la station de bus”
hôtel bien situé dans le centre de rome ,près du vatican , chambre agréable et propre , juste un peu bruyant le matin car manque d'isolation entre les chambres , mais pas genant pour un cours sejour et si on se lève tôt .
“Excellent Hotel, excellent location”
Rome was nice but I did expect more from it! Oh well... The hotel was very nice indeed - it was a 2 star but I would say it to be more of a 3 star. They had very polite reception staff that was manned 24/7 and were helpful. There were shops located across the road and there was a supermarket which was a 2 min walk! Vatican City is located within a 5 min walk! There was a bus stop right outside the hotel that took us to all the places we wanted to go to. The hotel was clean and we had a huge, spacious room. The bathroom was a bit small but it done the job! I would defo stay there again! Forgot to mention...a 5 minute walk and you have a a high street full of shops to shop till you drop!
“Offers exactly what it says on the tin!”
My sister and her teenage daughters came home for Christmas (from Australia). As well as celebrating Christmas we wanted to make the most of the visit by having a mini holiday. Rome was our chosen destination and as money was a major factor we wanted a reasonably priced hotel as a base from which to explore Rome. After reading the reviews we certainly made the right choice! The hotel is very central for exploring Rome and only 5 minutes from the Vatican. The rooms are spotlessly clean and a maid comes in daily to make the beds and change towels as necessary. The reception staff are very friendly and imformative and gave us lots of information on the best local restaurants (one of which, the pizzeria opposite, turned out to be the cheapest and the best!) They also gave excellent directions to various locations. There is also a roof garden, which I imagine would be a real sun trap in the summer but we spent a lovely hour in the winter sunshine until it was time to leave for the airport. Our only critisism would be the noise from the traffic at night but this is a minor detail in comarison to the rest of the hotel. Congratulations to all the staff, we would recommend the hotel to all.
“Absolutely perfect for the price”
The Adriatic is a small hotel and, as a 2 star, it didn't disappoint. Our room was not huge, but comfortable. The sheets were crisp and clean, the towels white and fluffy. As we were only 10 minutes stroll away from St Peter's and the Vatican City, it meant we could enjoy Rome without suffering from tired feet! The longest walk is down to the Collosseum, and even that only took just over an hour - with lots to see on the way. The Reception staff were polite and spoke good English. The only downside is that there wasn't a safe deposit box in the room; any valuables could be left with Reception, but that isn't always convenient. All in all, if you are looking for a well-placed and inexpensive base from which to explore Rome, the Adriatic is an excellent choice.
“Can't wait to go back”
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is in the perfect location to visit walk around the city, especially if you are going to spend a lot of time at the Vatican or Castle St. Angelo. The staff is available 24 hrs a day which is extremely helpful if you are traveling very early or late.
“Un hôtel pas cher en plein centre ville !”
Hôtel à conseiller si vous envisagez un séjour à Rome. Les chambres sont peu chères, le service y est excellent. A deux pas du Vatican, c'est un hôtel très pratique. Aux alentours, petits restaurants délicieux.
“Great hotel for the price”
Having read previous reviews, we selected this hotel on the basis of its price and proximity to the Vatican and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the rooms, although basic, were comfortable and very clean. As we were there in the winter we did not have the issue with paying for AC and the rooms were beautifully warm. The shower, although small, was hot and strong. The location was great, five minutes to the Vatican and on the first morning it took us 45 minutes to walk to the Colusseum using a tourist map, with plenty of stops to take photos along the way. (We could have probably done it in less than 30 minutes by our last day). We walked every where and crossed the river using a different bridge each day, so really got to know our way around. There were plenty of local restaurants to explore - the best (and cheapest) pizza was just across the road and to the right (you might need to reserve a table as they were very busy and always full). We would definitely use this hotel again.
“satisfait”
tres bon emplacement, personnel à l' accueil tres sympathique
“Très contentes!”
Emplacement idéal dans la ville(qui nous a permis de voir beaucoup de monuments)!! Le personnel est très agréable. Lors de mon prochain séjour à Rome, j'aimerai retourner dans cet hôtel.
