“I came back already”
The place was very easy to find, the directions were great. At time of arrival I was greeted pleasenty and the explanations and rules were described very well. the BB is small but the service was great. rooms do not have any view but they are extremely clean. Bathrooms were big, new and as I mentioned before extremely clean. The place is quiet. Breakfast is plentyful, only carbs though but for the price it was OK. The neighborhood is not the best in rome but is connected to line A of the subway and very close to the train terminal Termini. Rome is safe to walk at night, you can walk to more central destinations once the metro stops. I came back a few days latter and my stay was as good as the first time. I do recommend this small BB with no hesitation.
“friendly hotel, ok location”
very friendly hostess. clean room and facilities. close to metro station, but not walking friendly.
“Bon rapport qualité prix”
Au centre de Rome, on a l impression d etre chez l habitant. Pas de vue magnifique , mais pour dormir rapport qualité/prix interressant.
“On the go only”
Perfect place if you don't mind the neighborhood. The rooms are clean, the place is quiet but there is no way you have a coffee or a beer around the hotel, the area is terrible...
“Casa di Mei, Rome May 2012”
I booked this hotel because I wanted something very close to Termini station to catch a ride to the airport the following morning. It was a bit farther than I was hoping, and once I found it, I had to ring all of the buzzers to have the door opened as the hotel itself did not buzz us in. The gentleman who met us was very nice and the room was very clean. My sole complaint regarding the room would be that the panels closing the shower are missing one, so water splashed on the floor, and the floor was very slippery when wet. Other than this, it was fine for a night, but if I were staying in Rome longer, I would probably look elsewhere. For the price, it is a good value. I can't say anything about the included breakfast as we had to leave too early. Almost forgot, the tram is directly outside the hotel, so that is convenient if you are relying on public transportation to get around!
“Only if money is all that matters”
The price was very good and everything was advertised (e.g. free wifi). But be very careful when selecting this location. It is not in the nicest part of town and is very difficult to find. English is not spoken and the free breakfast was extremely limited. The room was very clean and the inside of the hotel very well taken care of. Conveniently located near the train station and subway (once you eventually find the place) If you're on an extremely tight budget and just need a place to sleep while in Rome this will work fine.
