“Budget gem in the heart of Rome”

Three Coins exceeded our expectations for budget accomodation in Rome. Steps from the Trevi fountain and a short walk to Piazza Navona & the Pantheon, the location is exceptional. Tanya, the manager of Three Coins, was extremely sweet and helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Our ensuite room was more spacious than we expected and very quiet, a welcome respite after a busy day of sightseeing. If you're looking for a very clean, centrally located, affordable B&B, this is a great option. I would definitely recommend Three Coins to my friends.

“Great location to the Trevi Fountain”

We chose the 3 Coin Trevi for it's location. We were so close to the Trevi Fountain and that is what we wanted as we got engaged there 12 years ago and wanted to be able to go there often while we were staying in Rome. The room we stayed in was very small but we were there only to sleep and didn't spend much time in our room. The room was very clean as well as the shared bathroom. For people who have a lot of luggage or have troubles with stairs this is probably not a good choice. The lady who runs the place is very friendly and offered us a glass of juice or water when we checked in which was very much appreciated as it was warm outside and we had been walking for some time. This B & B only takes cash. Overall, I thought this place was a good value for it's location.

“3 Coins Trevi Fountain B & B: Well located, good price and great hospitality.”

Trevi Founttain B & is very well located near Trevi Fountain, Via Del Corso and Tritona the main streets of Rome. The best feature of 3 Coins is the location, the cleaniness and the hospitality from Tania and Maria. Right below 3 Coins, there are 3 nice restaurants with outdoor terrasses and their staff are nice.

“Don't be put off by the entrance”

Very good location, three flights of stairs, just don't trip on the carpets. No lift. Very near to Trevi Fountain, yet very quiet. Breakfast is adequate with excellent coffee, but there is little space available. This is not a hotel, but rooms are very nicely decorated. We had two single beds joined togetther and one was better than the other. Enjoy your stay.

“Pas cher et bien situé, mais pls problèmes”

Les points positifs : une des deux soeurs qui tient le B&B est vraiment très gentille, il est bien situé, très propre, et pas très cher. La shared bathroom également très propre, grand douche. Les points négatifs : fortement déconseillé en hiver (problème de chauffage, dans notre chambre en tout cas, et d'eau tiède), petite chambre (pr les chambres sans salle de bain) et sous pente donc assez sombre. Petit dej bof bof. A noter : 4 ou 5 étages, mais je n'ai pas trouvé ça gênant.

“Not good”

The location and staff person were good. The shared bath was nice though I couldn't lock the door because I couldn't UNLOCK it. The small 4th floor room with no lift sloped with the roof so one cannot stand up in half the room. The door opened out so there was no way to use additional safety measures and the lock was a skelton key--easy to pick--and the key had to be used to unlock the door from the inside. No smoke alarms. The door at the street level was never locked so anyone could come in. There was only a small window in the room. For many safety reasons I would not reccomend this B&B. And all taxes and fees were supposed to be included and they still hit me up for 2 euro each for every night for a city tax. I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.

“Not impressed it is not a hotel it is a B & B”

It was advertised as a hotel but it is a B & B it was four floors up no lift stait carpet was loose and dangerous The place you had breakfast was so small you couldn't even sit at the your table properly it was so tiny. Couldn't wait to get out had to stay 2 nights before we could find other accomodation. Very upset as we had booked on line before we left Australia. Would not recomend it to anyone.
