First off, if you want to wake up to see the Eiffel tower outside your window and all that jazz, this isn't the place for you. Everyone else, this is the place for you. Everyone from the bellhop and cleaning crew to the manager on the floor was extremely helpful and nice.
The buffet was pretty hearty and beats all but three buffets I've seen in my travels in France. The bar environment and service was attentive and extremely nice.
The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. My wife is use to having facilities for tea and coffee in her room before she starts the day. That was not available the first day, but the hotel made sure it was available and ample the rest of the trip. All and all, I highly recommend this place, especially if you prize some down time and peace after running all over Paris.
My family and I had two rooms for a one night stay prior to departing the next morning for the USA. The hotel is great, but the best part of our stay was the helpfulness of one particular staff member named Omar. On the morning of our departure we got caught in the AirFrance pilot's strike and our flight to Houston, TX was abruptly cancelled. Omar took personal charge of our luggage at the hotel, while we went to Charles de Gaulle Airport to try to arrange an alternative flight. We did manage to arrange an alternate flight with a rather short time span to board. Omar quickly brought us our luggage, and we made the flight on time. We were very grateful to Omar for his outstanding service, which far exceeded any of our expectations.
This is the most elegant way to prepare for an early morning departure from Roissy. No need to take a shuttle bus; you simply walk downstairs to reach the airport check-in area. Rooms are quiet and attractive; staff is friendly and helpful; there are two restaurants -- a brasserie for informal dining, and a more gastronomic restaurant for those who want to celebrate a last time before leaving Paris.
Staff was fabulous and very friendly. Stayed here for a mix trip to disney and paris. Free shuttle bus was brilliant did not experience any issues. Spa facilities was good. Breakfast wasnt to my taste but I could always find something to eat. Overall lovely hotel
This is a very neat hotel, and the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in for a long time. You have though to make sure where to wait for the shuttle at the airport. I first waited at Terminal 1, but after a while, I was picked up by a bus driver who took to Terminal 2 where I was able to get into the hotel shuttle. But I still think the hotel is an excellent deal for the price in Paris Charles De Gaulle area!
Northeast of Paris, Roissy-en-France is home to a quarter of the land at Charles de Gaulle International Airport. Suburban trains and buses service Paris. Otherwise, Roissy is mostly a Paris bedroom community.
