“Just very GREAT.”

We just came back from Estes Park, and had a faboulous stay at the Murphy River Lodge. From the very beginning, the staff was just very friendly, helpfull and always in a great mood. Rooms are nice & clean, and exceeded our expectations for the very reasonable price. We had also only reserved a room for 2 nights, but wanted a longer stay, which was managed with a smile, even if they had a full house during Memorial-day weekend. We got a very cozy, little room on top of the office, which was undergoing some work, but was still extremely clean. This is not a 4 or 5 star Lodge, but nearly deserves this grade, when you compare with the very good prices you get on their rooms. Thank you Murphys River Lodge from very satisfied Richmond "costumers". When we are back to Estes Park/RMNP, you will certainly be our place to stay.

Loved everything! The beds were very comfortable and I loved the pillows! The bathroom was nice and the shower with massage head was a much needed surprise. The small refrigerator/freezer and microwave were a nice convenience too! I also liked the binder of information that they put together of local dining and attractions. I didn't get to try the pool or hot tub but they looked great. The breakfast was enjoyable too. Very welcoming. I will plan on staying again!

“Amazing”

Everyone should experience the serenity and breath taking views of Estes Park espcially while staying at Murphy's River Lodge. From the moment we checked into the hotel every experience has been top notch. The people who work here arent like employees...they are our friends while we are here! They treat us like family and have given us such wonderful insights about the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The town is within walking distance from the hotel...even in the frigid temperatures of winter. You dont even notice the cold weather while walking because it is so close and convenient to the town. The rooms are fantastic providing us with all the ameneties we could dream of and beyond! We cant wait to wake up in the morning and see the mountains blanketed by new fallen snow while enjoying the continental breakfast provided for us! We are just so captivated by the views and experience we have had here. We know we will stay here the next time we come to Estes Park. I couldnt wait to share with everyone about the experience we are having so far at the lodge! A little piece of heaven has made a home at Murphy's River Lodge :)

“Great Place To Be!!! Outstanding!!!”

My wife and I spent a night at Murphy's River Lodge and all I have to say is WOW!!! The rooms were amazing. Clean, updated and everything you need at your fingertips. The pool was being renovated, but we had enough things to do within walking distance to town. The location is unbelievable. Right on the river. New flat screens, new pillow top mattresses, everything new!!! We will definitely been re-visiting a lot more. Try Murphy's River Lodge, you will not regret it. Awesome staff.

“5 Star Lodge!”

My stay at this lodge was nothing short of 5 stars. I arrived late and there was still a very friendly staff member that was very courteous and kind, and was willing to help me out with anything I needed even at a late hour. Once I reached my room I was pleasantly surprised to get a very spacious, clean, modern looking room with a flat screen TV, new decor and beautiful large windows. The lodge's view is beautiful, situated right next to a flowing river ,and I was within 5 minute walking distance to the town's main street. To top it all off this lodge is also reasonably priced and you get well over what you pay for. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to and through Estes Park and I will definitely revisit this place myself!

“Great location, comfortable room!”

This hotel is 4 miles from the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The hotel looks older on the outside but has been nicely updated inside. The breakfast was only continental but there was plenty of items to go around and you could eat breakfast on the back deck next to the river..very lovely! The swimming pool and hot tub were also great, especially for our energetic kids. Overall, a very nice experience and we would stay again.

“Excellent location”

We were in Estes Park Labor Day weekend which was extremely busy. The hotel is in an excellent location--very close to the bypass. Getting to Rocky Mtn National Park was very convenient using the bypass. Also, we were able to walk downtown to for shopping and dining. The rooms were large and beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff were very pleasant and knowlegeable about the area/ Would definitely recommend this hotel!

“Very impressed and can't wait to go back”

Murphy's River Lodge was a very nice place to stay especially for the price. The managers, Bruce and Loretta, were very personable and very helpful. They really made the place and will do well with the property. We definitely will recommend this lodging to our friends and would strongly recommend that anyone going to Estes Park should consider this lodge as their home base. We really had a great time. The continental breakfast was outstanding and the room was always clean with fresh linens. The elk and were all over the golf course in town and the aspen trees were just beautiful. We had a great time hiking in the mountains also and were glad to get back to Murphy's River Lodge at the end of each day.
