"convenient location with an AMAZING view"
The hotel is a little bit rustic. Hand made furniture. It did not have a microwave in the room I was in, however the staff was very polite and we were greeted by an amazing view. The hotel has a 180 view of the rockies. It is absolutely wonderful. Just the view is worth staying there.

"Nice property, comfortable stay."
Very comfortable. excellent location. Great access to the Rocky Mountain National Park and all the facilities in Estes Park village. Enjoyed the jucuzzi in the room with a view of the mountain spring (Fall River) twenty feet away. Would definitely consider staying again.

"Great owners, very attentive , old hotel"
Excellent hosts, friendly and attentive. This is an old wood structure. Make sure you stay at the second floor. We were at the first floor and I woke up a few times at night when the guys upstairs went to the bathroom or just moved around. Loud noises from the wood creeking, I was worried they would fall through the ceiling.

"Needs a bit of repair"
Our stay at the River Song B&B was pleasant and the food was excellent every morning. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our only negative comment would be regarding the general lack of maintenance of the grounds and surrounding area, plus more attention should be placed on details of the room itself. We stayed in the Paintbrush room. The windows needed cleaning, there was a decor pillow which was torn apart on one end, the window blinds did not work properly. Recommend the owner on occasion, have secret shoppers stay in the B&B and critique the rooms to keep the facility tip top condition. The surrounding lawns and landscaping needed immediate attention and upkeep. The pleasant staff and breakfasts made the experience positive.

"A getaway for all reasons"
Perfect getaway for relaxation. My life has been super hectic and staff (DeDe) made decision making a breeze. I went in February and it was stunning. Plan to go back in the fall so we can do more activities. Get the spa suites, well worth the additional fees. We had room three and only really needed to leave for a fancy dinner (that DeDe recommended). Just get there, you won't regret it. Bed was super comfortable and the jet tub was simply perfect. It was super romantic and my partner and I really had no reason to leave the area. Almost stayed another night, but again, life is hectic.

"Beautiful hotel with fabulous views"
From the moment we walked in, we were very pleased with the layout. All staff were very nice and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable! I Bring my own pillow when traveling, this time in stayed in the car. The continental breakfast was good. The extra amenities, s'mores over the firepit on the balcony, a DVD player to use if you want. A well stocked lounge, and table shuffleboard! Lots yo do, walking distance to town, Love Gateway Inn and the family who owns it, they do a spectacular job!

"Nice hotel close to RMNP"
Had a very pleasant stay -- we were in a room with a king-sized bed next to the river on the ground floor. Each room has a porch that is very spacious, and if you're on the ground floor, there is a swing which makes for a nice place to watch the sunset. The rooms were comfortable and large, although the carpet is quite dated. The only real downside for us was that we stayed in a room next to the breakfast room so in the morning, it was a bit loud with people coming up and down (and lots of kids running around). Overall, seems like a great family-friendly place and was only a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park the next morning. Loved the cute town of Estes Park!

"Good stay for a good price"
My husband and I chose Riverview Pines for a mini-vacation. At this price, we weren't expecting anything fancy, and we were satisfied with our stay. The layout is quite strange - not something I thought I would care about, but it was problematic when the bathroom door couldn't be closed from the inside and only one person could walk around the bed at a time. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying with more than two people in a cabin, and I don't think you'd want to stay with someone you aren't very comfortable with (the bathroom wall doesn't go all the way up to the ceiling). The kitchen was also much smaller than I'd realized from the photos. I brought meals to cook, but that ended up being difficult. Next time, I would skip the groceries and go out to eat (I also hadn't noticed that there was no dishwasher and we would have to hand-wash everything – how spoiled we are at home). There was some construction going on right next to our cabin, but it was only noisy the first day. One last mention: the TV in the bedroom was so small that when we tried to watch the movie we brought, we couldn't see it. We ended up watching it on a laptop on the bed. On the positive side, our cabin was clean and smelled fresh when we walked in, and looked true to the photos. I loved being near the stream. The bed was large and comfortable, and the jacuzzi was great. The woman at the front desk was wonderful. We were close to RMNP and downtown. For the price, we would stay again.
