“Typifies New England Charm”

We stayed two nights at the start of a 2 week trip to New England, and were thoroughly charmed by the Seaward Inn. The rooms were exacty how we had imagined a New England hotel to be. This is as far from a chain motel as you could hope to be - it's an old hotel, and some of the decor is old fashioned, but this adds to the charm and homeliness feel of the place. The welcome at check in, the overall service and the range of breakfast offerings were all fantastic, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the restaurants and main port of Rockport, so it's very peaceful and quiet, with some great views across the ocean. We would definately recommend the Seaward Inn as a great place to relax.

“A perfect stop for visitors touring New England”

Flying from the UK we arrived at 3pm and wanted somewhere within easy driving distance. Cape Ann, Rockport and the Seaward Inn were just perfect. We stayed in many other places on our tour but this was a quintissential Old School New England seaside. We were there early in the summer season and although we booked cheaper rooms, were kindly given an upgrade. The rooms in the main house were very good and worth the extra if staying for a few days. Excellent breakfasts and all round very friendly staff . From the breakfast room a wonderful view to the Atlantic and a beautiful evening oastal walk into town - especially returning at sunset.

Great location near the water. Only problem was parking. Breakfast was great.
