Really enjoyed the small, intimate cafe for breakfast. Hasn't changed since the "old days"

“Needs extra blankets in the rooms.”

This is a very nice, quiet motel about equi-distant from Rock Port and Gloucester, MA.. The only problem was the lack of extra blankets. The very light comforter provided was not sufficient so we had to keep the heater on all night. It would have been much more enjoyable to open a window for fresh air if we had extra blankets to keep warm. In addition, there was no motel staff on the premises after 9:00 PM to provide assistance when we stayed there on May 20, 2011.

Our only issue was the heated pool definitely was not heated! Otherwise great little hotel in a lovely part of Cape Ann.
