Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
This was our third time at this property, the last one being in 2019. The hotel has continued to go down hill, it seems like they just don't care about the property or their guests. I have provided bullet points below on some of the challenges. We will never stay here again.
- Arrived at 4pm and our room was not ready, it wasn't available until almost 6pm
- Checkin is brutal, they don't ask if you've stayed at their hotel previously or provide any information on the property
- Rooms were dated, dirty and not taken care of, this is the same for the overall property as well
- Didn't have housekeeping services for 4 out of 10 days
- Asked for a blanket for our bed as it only had a sheet, this took 24 hours to get and we had to ask 4 times
- Air conditioning broke down and took 24 hours to fix
- Lack of food options as one of their restaurants has closed down. Note, they are still advertising the restaurant as being open
- Buffet breakfast quality is very poor and way overpriced at almost $100 Canadian for 2 people
- The hotel bars were closed most nights by 9pm, if not earlier
- Checkout was also terrible as they did not thank you for staying or ask if you enjoyed your stay
- The best was to describe this hotel is that it is a 2 star hotel on a 5 star beach
