“Beautiful views”

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel next to the Fitzroy river with great views across the river and beyond to the mountains. Well located at centre of town. Large inviting restaurant and bar. No problems with staff or room.

“OK for a night”

Good position on the riverfront, near to the downtown area. Rooms are clean and comfortable, if a little tired. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a great meal at Cassidy's Seafood and Steakhouse, which is right next door

“Clean as new”

The first impression was 'wow, it's very clean. it looks brand new!' I will definitely come back to this hotel. Also, it was cheaper than any other hotel or motels around I could find. Two thumbs up! One thing though, we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and we were disappointed with overpricing.

“Perfectly adequate”

Conveniently located just off Bruce Highway. Free parking. Perfectly adequate for business or for an overnight to split the journey between Hervey bay and Whitsunday coast.

“It's a Travel Lodge”

It's a Travel Lodge. Although much better than the ones I have stayed in in the UK it is still a Travel lodge which gets the hammer of day to day travelers. It was well located for our Australian road trip and served it's purpose well. A one night stay here to break up one of the longest parts of the trip. Staff were very helpful and pointed out local eateries etc...
