“Earned My Repeat Business”

We were looking for a modest, clean, comfortable, conveniently-located, inexpensive place to stay. This place fit the bill to the extent that this was a repeat stay for us.

“short trip to rockford”

right off the main drag, lots of food options. it's not luxury by any means though. great if you're just looking for a place to sleep for cheap!

“Not Impressed”

For a few extra dollars a neighboring hotel would be nicer.

“Super 8 Rockford, No it's not!!”

The hotel is an older Super 8, I had a King "Suite" Which was laid out poorly, The elevator was used as a storage room, Everything worked okay except the clock which housekeeping kept turning off, This was due to the poorly planned & laid out room. I found 2 other Hotels in the same area that were cheaper than this hotel. Will I go back to Rockford, yes, Will I stay at the Super 8 Only if it's the only palce vacant

“not impressed, won't stay there unless have to”

The room had burnt marks on carpet, in the bathroom and on the sink. The room smelt even tho I smoke, my home doesn't smell this bad. I only stay this hotel if I have to, I'm glad that's not very often. They could put coffee pots in the rooms to make it easy for people who stay there on business trips, I take my own so that I can have coffee when I want it and not have to wait for the lobby to get theirs going. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone to staty unless they have no other choice.

“Do not go”

Upon check-in they tried to charge us an additional $2.19 per night for use of the phone and safe, which we did not request. It was not offered, just charged. After I questioned it, they quickly refunded the money, then admonished me for not telling them earlier that I did not want it. Since when is there an automatic charge for phone and safe (especially when unwanted)? Breakfast was poor quality - nothing there. Facilities were old as well.

“Avoid this place!”

The place is very un-inviting when you walk in, boxes stacked everywhere, worn carpet. We were charged an extra fee for the "free internet service" (after pre-paying online when we made our reservations.) The "free" breakfast was coffee and packaged donuts. The place just gave us the creeps. The only positive was that the room did have a microwave and mini-fridge. There are plenty of other hotels right next door to this one.....choose one of them!
