“Yearly trip to Rockford”

We travel to Rockford every Feb. and have stayed at most of the hotels in the area. We especially liked this hotel. Very clean and comfy. Staff very friendly! They even called to see if everything was alright with the room A+++ Would definitely stay again.

“A pleasant surprise”

Most of the hotels in Rockford are chain outlets all clustered around the same tollway exit. I figured they would all be adequate but forgettable and chose Hampton Inn because it had the best traveler reviews and reasonable price. What a delightful surprise! The level of comfort, style and design sophistication of our room was comparable to downtown hotels in major cities that cost three times more. Great bed. Bathroom was relatively small but the layout was so good that it didn't feel cramped. The breakfast included in the room rate also was far better than what you find most places and included two different hot egg dishes as well as the usual offerings. I had never stayed at a Hampton Inn before but if they're all like this I will try another one.

“Served Our Family Well”

After some research, I chose this hotel, then several family members from various states chose the one I did so we could all be together. We had a wonderful time for a wedding, and the hotel was our "home". The staff was VERY accommodating, even willing to cook some breakfast items at their homes to get it just right for us, i.e. hard boiled eggs on days when no eggs were on the menu. Our rooms all had executive chairs at desks, and pull out sofas. This allowed us to have different family members from in town to stay the night on our sofa to be together, and to have a big party after the wedding in our room pulling chairs and ottomans from others rooms. We felt blessed we were able to accommodate family this way in a hotel.

“A Diamond in the Rough”

While there is little reason to ever visit Rockford, if you have to, stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms are clean and modern, the staff is friendly and efficient, the breakfast and fitness center are above average, and the wireless works without a hitch.
