False advertisement… No pool. TV not working. Breakfast “included” only had waffles, but waffle machine not working well. Disappointing.

Hello, thank you for the review, we really appreciate your feedback. But the pool is seasonal pool and it is only open during summer months between mid April to mid September. Our TVs and waffle machine are working fine, we did not have any other complaints, so i am not sure. We hope you will give us another chance in the future.

Better Then Expected
Great room. Nice but firm bed (which I like). Great cable. Simple but good breakfast. Coke AC. At $75 a night it seemed like a great value. One hour from downtown Austin. Quick friendly check in.

Lady at desk asked why we there. Stated that we were going to Snows for bbq. She said it’s not and you’ll be disappointed. You don’t say that to a customer. She ruined the entire stay at your motel for me.

Meh!
Maids knocking on doors at 8:30am was aggravating. Very low water pressure. Staff was friendly. If you want in room coffee in morning you probably want to get it from front desk. Might want to bring your own towels! Old, small and scratchy.

It was good for the one night. I don’t think I had clean sheets on my bed, because under the pillows were debris like grass and hair. I bought my own breakfast, so I didn’t have that. I needed explanation to turn on the TV, since there was more than one step!

This property is in need of updating. The faucet in the tub did not work properly. The water was very hot. Even with the control all the way on cold, it was still to hot. You could not stand under the shower. However, for one night it was okay.

Apparently SURE STAY is the lowest quality offering in the BEST WESTERN portfolio. I don't expect BW to be very good, but the bed was so cheap...and tired...and saggy that a good nights sleep was impossible. In fact, about 3 AM I considered walking over to the next motel, renting a room, and coming back in the AM to get my stuff. Then I considered just loading up and leaving but I hate driving in the dark. So I sat up until daylight, went to breakfast and came back and packed up. Never again!

I think i visited at a busy recreational season when the guest were really noisy, loud music and drinks, beating loud on each other's doors but after i reported it the manager got things under control

Very nice overnight stay. Room small but efficiently arranged, even had a full length mirror also oversized room frig, micro. Small area by office with good selection for continental breakfast plus cereal, waffle maker, toaster, juice. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel and staff were nice. Room was clean. Only complaint was they had a pet fee of $15.00 a day and I wasn’t aware of it until we checked in.

The hotel was ok. The toilet was too low. The guests in the room above made all kinds of noise. The shower was terrible. The tub has poor drainage. There bed was ok nothing great. I guess for just one night this hotel would do but more than one night, go elsewhere. No checkout procedure was explained. I guess going forward leave the key in the room and go. I would not return here no matter the rate.

South Padre to Wisconsin
What a great stay! We travel from South Padre Island to WI and back since 2014 minus pandemic and always stay in this hotel on the way. They have upgraded everything and not much increase in price. They will continue to get our business.
