The person at the desk was verry friendly and helpful when we arrived. The manager of the bar was the friendly and accommodating as was the bartender. The swimming pool was so warm. We keep coming back to this hotel whenever we are in Rochester.
It was an adequate hotel. There as lots of noise from kids playing in the halls and running around.
My favorite thing was Sticky Lips BBQ, a great restaurant next door!
Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Room was clean and offered good amenities.

Holiday Inn Feedback
Front desk personnel were great. The hotel is outdated, especially the HVAC system. Noisy system and constantly turning on and off. Made it difficult to sleep.
The buffet presentation was fine; however all the food was cold, even at 8:30 in the morning.
Bathroom was crowded as it was very tiny.
Rooms were ok but took a long time to reach them

Hotel was adequate, nothing special. However, the heat and air handler in the room sounded like a 747 taking off every time it kicked on in the middle of the night. Toilet handle was also broken, but I was able to fix it myself.
When I’m visiting Rochester I always stay at this hotel. It’s close to RIT, close to shopping and dining options and right off the highway. The staff are always very nice and the room is always clean. The beds are comfy.
Great overnight stay. Room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Shower had good pressure. We enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool. Also appreciated the included breakfast.
Huge hair ball in the shower sink. Other people’s hair all over the suite furniture. Check in manager was very very friendly. He said he was the new manager and was going to get things straightened around. I hope he puts cleanliness on the top of his agenda.
The hotel is located close to 390 so that is a plus. The lobby and common areas are nice enough but the halls leading to rooms were narrow with short ceilings which made them feel closed in. There was also a very cold breeze blowing down the hallways despite no outside doors being open. Rooms were clean and had some modernization but the doors to the rooms were scratched up and appeared out dated. I only stayed one night but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back. Not worth the price!
Whenever I visit Rochester, this is my choice of hotels. The staff is always very friendly and the amenities offered are great. My room is always clean and comfortable.
When I visit Rochester, the Holiday Inn Marketplace is my preferred hotel. The facilities are always clean, the staff is always kind and the beds are always comfy. The hotel is situated next to shopping and very close to the Rochester Institute of technology campus, which is always my purpose for visiting.
I will not stay here again. The carpet in the room had back sticky substance on the carpet, place was not vacuumed, the refrigerator had something spilled in it. The curtains were on the ground with the chain broken when I arrived in the room. Many other people were complaining about same issues
The one thing that put a bit of a damper on things was the pool hours. We wanted to take swim in the morning when we got up as the pool hours posted was 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. When we used the key card to get in it wouldn’t work, so I went front desk only to be told the pool doesn’t open until 10:00 am and they haven’t changed the signs yet.
