The person working late night was very kind and accommodating, though warned that she wasn’t sure when breakfast would be served since the person in charge of it was always late. Sure enough, the next morning, when I went to eat the complimentary breakfast at 8 (an hour before it ended) the service area was in shambles. Charred black waffles on both sides of the iron, no waffle batter left, a chafing dish with shriveled eggs and the meat side was completely empty.
When I asked the front desk if it could be replenished, they nodded, as the man in charge of breakfast sat within view of all guests, in a small area right off the breakfast service area, causally looking up at us every once in a while while playing on his phone.
Six mins later, he handed me a cup of batter, and disappeared behind a door folks kept knocking on, asking for basic condiments (that weren’t filled in their designated baskets)
