“Satisfied”

Hotel was very nice and clean but we were promised a queen bed and a pull out bed and instead of giving is a roll away bed for free for there mistake they still wanted to charge us besides that we had a good stay

“Best Western Tropic Inn Review”

The hotel is relatively new and everything is clean and neat. It is smoke free and security is good. It's close to tourist attractions and the beach - 10 miles? or so. It is in front of the famous 'Joe Cotton's Barbeque' which had a fire and is currently a burned out shell of a building.

“Good hotel, if you are just passing through and don't expect much”

I would recommend this hotel only if you were just passing through and needed a place to stay. The hotel is located on the highway, which is a good thing. There is no where to eat anywhere close to the hotel, except McDonalds, and not really much of anything to do in the city. The walls in the rooms must be paper thin, you can hear every door slam and every step made all night long. Also, don't be fooled by the check out time, they called us right before 10 a.m. and asked if we were leaving yet. We will not be returning to this hotel.

“You can't get away from tabacco smoke from top to toe, even the stuff in your bags get stinky!!”

Non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms are on the same floor, facing each other. Completely lost in the concept of non-smoking. Somehow we got smoking room, and everything in the room just stinks. Your clothes, hair, bag, everything. You'll be surprised in the next morning that even your stuff in the bag smell smoke really, really bad. On top of that, hair dryer in the room do not work at all. Literally, cannot turned on. You know how easily dump hair takes cigaret smell. It was like a nightmare. My husband, who has allergy to cigaret smoke can't stop coughing and tried to have medicine, and water tasted like rotten swamp!! Oh. Not that we were hungry enough to be able to have breakfast because of this sickening cigaret smell, there was no protein menu. Maybe you think we should not expect much on free thing, but can't they have something nice at least one thing???
