We loved the rustic tropical feel. The food and drinks at the Thirsty Turtle were delicious. Staff friendly. Dive shop accommodated snorkelers. We will definitely be back next year.

My wife and I, we had a good time at Bananarama resort, but we had to adapt the first 2 days to the conditions, like water, no TV, no radio and the overall, camp style cabana. I think the resort should inform tourists of what to expect around the area. For example, we brought clothes for 8 days which we never wrote. We expended the all 8 days with swimming pants. Also, the should advice the tourist specially girls shoes with hill. As well as other conditions that we are not used to. Beside that all was great, nice beach, good people great drinks and food. I will comeback.

The resort is ok but needs to be updated specially the rooms also service on the beach was horrible I request service on the beach area to order food and drinks but they said they didn’t have no server and had to get my staff on my own but they did have server for the people the was on the other side on where they allow people not staying at the resort but was purchasing alcohol and food server was not friendly breakfast was not the good flies around the food told them several times about only having hot water in the shower no cold water never repaired, no TV in the rooms very dissatisfied for my first time.

Property is kind of run down and a dirty, rooms are not cleaned properly and need a serious facelift, bathroom towels are clearly over used , old (ripped) and dirty. Bedding sheets are old and discolored , Bed bugs for sure , ants in room. Breakfast is really bad, service is very slow. A shame and waste for such an amazing location. Not worth the paid price.
