“It was on Rt 81 & was good for the stop on your way & back.”
This was a good hotel
“Best hotel stay in along time”
outstanding service, clean,neat and a staff that I could not praise enough. This was the best hotel I've stayed in, in many,many years.
“Room by elevator and Breakfast”
Never heard a bit of noise from the elevator all night. Had a nice buffet, but could not look at scrambled eggs again. Manager prepared fresh eggs over easy with his compliments. Now that's service.
“Would Stay There Again”
Hotel was clean, service was friendly, very close to I-81, adequate fitness room, and very nice lobby area. I enjoyed my stay there.
“Good stay”
We had a nice stay. The front desk lady was nice the night we checked in. We had breakfast in their restaurant. The waitress was extremely nice and did her job very well. One of the best waittress I have had in years. The only complaint will be when we checked out that morning there was a sign at the front desk that no one will be available for help for the next 10 min. That was a poor time to be taking a break since most people were getting ready to check out. Overall nice hotel, clean and friendly staff.
“Great Hotel”
If you have a child at Roanoke College then this is the place to stay. It's near the College and just off Main Street where all the stores and restaurants are. You are also close to the Blue Ridge Mountains and other attractions. The service was good and the hotel staff friendly and helpful.

I have absolutely no complaints. Appreciated friendly conversation at 4 a.m. with the front desk woman. What a treat!
“An awesome place for a getaway!! :)”
I booked a king suite with a jacuzzie for the weekend for our 6 year aniiversary. We LOVED it!!! The bed was extremely comfortable, the jacuzzi was awesome and the hotel restaurant and bar was even better. All in all, it was an awesome weekend! And I still can't believe I was able to get all of the mentioned amenties at the price I paid!!! I will be returning to the Holiday Inn the next time my husband and I need a break. :) Thank you!!!!
“High class cleanliness & service with great rates!”
Very convenient location. Extremely clean. Stayed there with my toddler and front desk person was awesome wtih her. Gave her a little snack bag at check-in as I booked the wrong location and had to wait for Expedia to switch locations for me. Beds were very comfy and my toddler loved the little pillows on the beds! :) Would definitely stay again!
