“Great place to stay”
We had a great time. This hotel is very clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurants is really good but also expensive. To make your stay a bit less pricey you can get groceries out of the resort and use kitchen in the room. We would definately go back!
“Fun Hotel to Visit”
Overall the hotel was terrific. Great pools and fun activities during the day. Nice restaurants to eat meals on-site.
“Enjoyed every bit”
The hotel was very impressive driving up the main lobby. I did not feel comfortable leaving suitcase outside the main lobby area when checking in. The shutle service was prompt and helpful. The food at the del Lago restaurant was wonderful and plenty of it. The beach was pretty but very rocky, I had to wear swim shoes and I was so afraid to misstep and fall on the rocks. I would return to the hotel, great pools plenty of them but not to the beach.
“Excellent Hotel”
I honestly was not expecting such a nice hotel for our family vacation to Mexico. The pools were incredible and the restaraunts were excellent. On the down side, the beach was rocky and not swimmable (we found a nice beach about 1/2 mile to the north) and the beds were too firm for my liking. Overall an excellent hotel.
“"Not Impressed"”
"Not Impressed". The part time sellers were anoying even I told them I was not interested.
“Beautiful but confined area”
We had a beautiful time here. The room is extremely clean and gorgeous! Pretty big resort so be ready to walk alot!!! Perfect for tourists who dont mind staying on the resort grounds if not you have to shuttle or taxi wherever you go.
“Great Hotel but Poor Location”
It accomplishes what I thought was impossible in the Riviera Maya - that you don't want to go to the beach. both north and south, just very near the hotel, the beaches are gorgeous, white sand and clear light blue water. The hotel beach is a disgrace, not only is rocky like you wouldn't believe, but also, if you swim in you will find there is a point where it is dangerous to go on as there is a line of metal barrels at the sea bottom. it's scary. We ended renting a car and driving to Playa del Carmen almost every day, where the beach is awesome and lively, but that was not the idea. The swimming pool is very nice and large but for some reason it is divided in different levels so it's more like a few pools put together, you can't swim the whole thing altogether, you gotta get out of one and jump to the other... another dissapointment. also it is not deep but they tell me every hotel is the same. in my room, the cheapest of course, i didn't have mini bar or fridge or even coffe maker, not even something to warm up water to make tea in the morning, everything you have to buy and boy the prices are high at the hotel... what else? it's great if you like to get drunk inside the pool, I give them that. If you don't care about the beach at all then this could be your hotel, but then again, who goes to riviera maya and doesn't care about the beach?!
