“Well Worth It”
Great staff, very efficient, quiet, clean, food was fine and plentiful
“A little gem”
Having read previous reviews of Petit Lafitte we decided to try it out and were pleasantly surprised. We expected it to be a bit funky but found it in very nice shape,well cared for grounds and rooms and the staff were excellent and friendly at every turn. It was a great place to unwind,read several books,swim and enjoy the sun. It felt like your own beach house. Quiet section of beach,away from the mega-hotels. Excellent Mojitos. The food (included breaskfast and dinner) was always fresh and delicious and plentiful. Close enough to Playa (20 min taxi ride) to go for a few hrs.,shop etc. But far away from the tourist area to enjoy the solitude.

I stayed at the hotel with my 15 year-old daughter during her break from school We enjoyed the hotel, the pool and the beach; the management and the staff were friendly, helpful and very competent; and the food was quite good. A safe and intimate setting. Just what we were seeking from a small but well managed hotel. We felt welcome from the moment we checked-in with David. He and others on the staff learned our names and constantly inquired about our needs (which though few, the staff made sure to handle).

Great little hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tasty full breakfast and dinner included in price of stay. Drinks are cheap and delicious. Many of the guests are regulars, which says a lot about the place. I would definitely go back!
“Lucky to have found this gem!”
I had the best time at Petit Lafitte. The people are incredibly welcoming yet never intrusive. The cabana that I stayed in was comfortable, beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of hammocks, beach chairs and shade. No crowds or commotion. A central location for sight seeing. Swimming in the ocean or the pool was clean and relaxing and only a few steps to the bar for lunch or a margarita. By the end of my stay all the staff new my name and I knew theirs. It was the perfect getaway for a family, couple or a solo traveler such as myself. I will definitely travel in the Mayan Riviera again and, when I do, I will stay at Petit Lafitte.

Hôtel très agréable,mais attention, très éloigné de tout village ou ville. L'hôtel offre la demi-pension, et on comprend pourquoi : le premier restaurant extérieur à l'hôtel se trouve à au moins 15 km Excellente restauration sur place - très bon service

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly, the food was fantastic and the view was incredible. The room was very clean and comfortable. We plan on making this a yearly trip to Petit Lafitte!
“Picture Postcard Perfect!!!”
Our time at Petit Lafitte was like stepping into a beautiful postcard. You know, the one that makes you go all dreamy-eyed with that far, far away look. The one with the amazing beach scene that when you see it you can actually feel the ocean breeze, hear the waves on the shore and smell the salty air. If you have ever had that "take me there" moment, Petit Lafitte is where you NEED to go. Add to that dream; excellent service, truly delicious food (the soup must be heaven sent) and rooms (or bungalows) with views, air conditioning and wi-fi,...well you get the picture. What are you waiting for???
