“je conseil !!!”
EXCELLENT HOTEL !!!! alimentation très variée et très appréciable
“Lovely, relaxing resort with a beautiful beach and friendly staff”
Be Live Riviera Maya was beautiful...we expected a basic resort as it was such good value but we were amazed by the gorgeous beach, good food and friendly staff. The resort is very clean and we felt very well looked after, no one was bothering us and the staff were very helpful (we had an awful experience with United Airlines that lost our luggage for 2 days!). The food was great in the buffet and restaurants, especially Mexican cuisine, as were the drinks! The resort is best for couples and people wishing to relax, it's not a family resort which is just what we wanted. We are not used to all-inclusive holidays and I'm sure there are hotels much flashier than this one but we were very pleased and will be coming back next year.
“Going back soon . . .”
The staff at this resort is wonderful!! They are all friendly, helpful and some are VERY funny. The food and drinks are okay. The beach is gorgeous with terrific snorkling. For a relatively inexpensive all inclusive, Oasis Akumal is a true gem! If you are looking for a laided back, unpretentious experience, this is the place for you.
“I WOULD RETURN”
The beach is amazing!! You can snorkel right from the beach. It gives a wonderful feel to the hotel. The people are nice especially the workers. If you are looking for relaxation, this is the right place. Evening entertainment ends at a generally good time for the young group as well as our older group. The hotel caters to all types of people. A vacation is what you make out of it. Look for negativity, you will find it. You have a positive outlook and you will have a great time. I did a mother and daughter vacation and my mother loved it. Everthing from the food to the atmosphere fit her needs. We had a wonderful time while we were there (through April 29th).
“Honeymoon Heaven”
We LOVED our trip!! Only negative things I could say is that we tried to stay another day and they were unaccomodating. A few couples we met said their rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors were hot and the A/C didn't work well, but we were on the first floor with no issues at all!! The beach was a matter of steps off of our patio.
“Fantastic Resort”
I have been on the mayan riviera few times, in some considered better hotels of 5 stars, but this is far the best. Excellent position, with a beautiful reef; excellent service; excellent fodd ( i'm in the food business for almost 20 years) and a very friendly atmosphere. I will definetly go back and bring some of my freinds and family.
“Grand Oasis Riviera Maya”
Very nice and cosy place. Excellent food from Italian chef. Surprisingly good speciality restaurants.
“Great time”
Helpful and friendly staff. Kudos to Caesar and Guillermo who assisted with luggage that had been lost by the airline. Good ala cartes and no reservations needed. Few and minor line ups (when there were line ups). Always found something to eat at buffet. Excellent hotdog and hamburger luncheon bar b que which was great for kids. Always got a palapa. Clean and comfortable rooms. No problems with AC, washrooms, hot water. It was not super busy the week we were there and seemed to get a lot busier the day we were leaving. Great beach for snorkelling and kids as it is protected by the reef. We have been there twice and would go again in a heartbeat.
“Relaxing, Romantic and can't wait for our next visit”
This resort is more than I dreamed. The staff is excellent. The food is gourmet and delicious. It was great to experience different foods and cultures on one property. The mix of passengers from all over the world makes the experience terrific. Don't miss the Cafe Delmar on the roof for nighttime drinks and a real romantic atmosphere. The rooms are well furnished and the views from all the rooms are great. No oceanview were available but our gardenview was perfect.
“Would suggest to anyone a great place to stay”
I told everyone that staying at the Grand Oasis Riviera Maya was way more than I thought it would be. Everyone there was so nice and wanted you to have a great time. The food was excellant and the room was clean. We had such a wonderful time. I just wanted to stay there forever!!!
