“Had a great time”

Attended a wedding. The resort was clean. The pools were nice. The food in the restaurants were good. The service was a bit slow sometimes. The staff was friendly.

“Great Hotel!”

My husband and I just returned from our 2 week honeymoon at the Paradisus. It was a great hotel with great service. We had the royal service plan and it was well worth the extra cost...they really do treat you like royalty! The food was great, especially the french restaurant, and the staff were very friendly and courteous. The bed was a little hard, but who can complain about that when you're in paradise! The only complaint we did have was the photo staff were very pushy and actually a little rude when we didn't want to buy the photos we didn't even want taken in the first place. The hotel gives a good exchange rate, but you can only exchange for pesos, and they do not have an ATM. They will give cash on a credit card, but charge 10%. We definately recommend this hotel, and will likely go back next year.

“Surpassed our expectations!”

Mexico was not on our list for travel but we had to go to a family wedding. We were hesitant about everything. Airport was a breeze. We were forwarned about people trying to sell time-shares at the airport and told just to keep walking. No problem. We booked airport transportation before we left and looked for us. Resort was great. Restaurants were like going to individual restaurants in a city. French one was really nice. Lobby is huge! Sofas everywhere and entertainment every night in the lobby and in the theatre. Service was excellent. Lots of staff and always helpful. We did not have one problem during our stay. The beds were a little firm but you could ask for a mattress pillow top and they give you one. We didn't...good for our backs.

“Awesome Experience in a sun-filled silk-like beaches and superb service”

the newly named Now Sapphire Resort was excellent. The reception of the front desk staff was professional and courteous. The room was extremely clean and classic. Bed was very comfortable. Staff in all areas were very accomodating. the Coco Coffee bar was superb, as I am a big Starbucks fan and they did their best to make my Americano... It was nice not to have to make reservations, at the ala cartes. The Japanese resturant was very disappointing (possibly a new chef) however he failed to listen to my pepper allergy and another person's vegetarian restrictions-he didn't seem to care)All of the serving personnel were very accomodating and efficient. The resort itself was extremely clean and the white beach was as soft as silk.. Temps were 30 degrees each day.. somewhat windy, but definetely a relief off the ocean. Evening entertainment was fair..the Elvis impersonator was great as well as the Cuban Music. Only negative was Friday and Saturday nights were very noisy as local patrons rented rooms on a daily basis and brought lots of relatives. They didn't seem to be respectful of others who were at the resort for the week. Too afraid to complain to the front desk. All in all it was wonderful and wouldn't hesitate to return

“Great Hotel”

This was a great hotel with everything included. The adult pool was nice and quiet and the bar was never busy. It does help to throw a couple of bucks in tips now and then...the staff will treat you well. Only my wife and I went, next time we'll take the kids. Food was great, the evening restaurants were fantastic, especially the Japanese one where they cook in front of you...I can eat that every night. Nice clean and helpful staff...I recommend 100%

“I would love to go back”

Right from when we first arrived at our hotel, we were pleasantly surprised. It was more than we expected. The room was very large. The staff were great and helpful. The restaurants had a great variety of foods. Something to please every one. The pool was big and a lot of fun. They have a great bar there. There were plenty of activities to keep you busy if that is what you wanted. Every thing was so clean. I would highly recommend it to any one. Like I said I would love to go back

“Simply the Best!”

My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort at the end of April and all I can say is that it was the best! I have been to Mexico 3x prior to this stay, and the service at this resort was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was super accommodating and every employee greets you with a smile. We didn't upgrade to the preferred club and from what we saw I don't believe that there would be much value in doing so. (we were provided with great service the entire time). The pool is to die for, and the swim up bar is perfect. Before arriving at the hotel, I had researched the reviews and I was nervous about the negative comments on the chair situation at the pool. However, we were at the pool by 10:00 am every day and we had no problem getting a nice spot by the pool/beach. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO OSCAR- i have never seen a bar tender move so fast and pour such good drinks before. The drinks might be a little watered down but they still did the trick. (and what bar do you go too anyways where the drinks aren't watered down). It was an excellent resort for the price. The food I would say was a 8/10. The buffet always had good variety but I was a little disappointed by the Japanese restaurant, but besides that I have no complaints. The entertainment at night was great, and they always had booths set up with jewelry, art, cigars, etc that were for sale. The hotel also offered a free professional photography session, and it was fantastic. We bought great photos to align with our great memories.

“We Loved It! Excellent Spot!”

Great place to spend the week. Great beach and fantastic pool area. The lounge area with lots lots of couches and nightly live music made for a great evening hang out. Food at buffets and restaurant were very good and the service staff was second to none, they were all so good. No reservations required at the restaurants which works out well, we didn't have to wait very long any time that we went. Not very far to get there from the Cancun airport which is nice not having to go very far after been on a long plane ride. Would go back again.

“Beautiful Resort”

We stayed at the Paradisus Resort for our honeymoon and were overwhelmed with how beautiful the place was. The resort staff members were extremely friendly and were always making sure we were well taken care of. The rooms are large and kept immaculately clean (our room was tidied after we left every morning and the beds were turned down when we came back every night). The Serviexpress room service was also fantastic. During our stay, we were impressed by how well everything was cared for. We do not usually return to places we have already visited, but we will be sure to come back to the Paradisus!
