"Unmatched service"
This was our 10th visit to the Cancun/Playa area and we have always enjoyed every resort. Each resort offered the friendliest most eager to please service. However, this resort finds ways to improve upon the superior service we've encountered before. Service wise I don't see how anyone could improve upon how these people do everything. Their restaurants were all excellent. As a swimmer I generally expect the pool waters to be cold and uninviting. However, their main pool is heated, and guests responded by getting into and enjoying the water. The only negative was the huge amounts of seaweed on the beach, which rendered the beach as unusable, with even an unpleasant odor. The staff said the seaweed was the worst in a long time, and that the entire coastline was in the same shape. Highly recommend this resort.

"A superb vacation experience"
We booked at Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita for a 5 night stay as part of a new year holiday on the east coast of Mexico. We had no idea what to expect, but had high hopes having read reviews online. The hotel, spa and location far exceeded all our expectations. Zoetry Paraiso provides a supremely quiet, restful and relaxing location in which to unwind in the sun. Situated between mangrove and coastline, it offers stunning, tranquil gardens, which are extremely well tended by the expert staff - as are all other aspects of the resort. The wildlife within the gardens is amazing (exotic birds, iguanas, and even a crocodile). The human life is almost as interesting, but for guests who wish to keep themselves to themselves and enjoy a quiet time, there is no pressure to socialise. The restaurants far exceeded our expectations. Food was deliciously fresh and made to gourmet standards. Service was first class. We had not realised that such a range of diverse, high-quality offerings were included in our reservation, so were very happily surprised to benefit from superb cuisine and wine without having to calculate the cost of each request. The usual checks that appear for countersignature at the end of lunch, dinner or drinks at other hotels were completely absent, making the whole experience ever more enjoyable. We had a really wonderful time and would go back again for another week in the sun.

"Background on taxi fares and time share pitches"
This is the second all inclusive stay for my wife and I in Mexico. I would say we made some improvements on this one primarily in the area of restaurants. A lot of the basic information about the hotel is provided in other reviews so I am going to use the limited area here to address getting to the resort and what to expect immediately upon arrival. You are greeted at the entrance with cold refreshing towels and a glass of champagne-or water if you prefer. The ride is about 30 minutes from the airport. Taxi fare is around $60-$70 for four adults depending on the type of vehicle. Not going to say that you can't bargain for less, but you can certainly pay more if you aren't careful. Check in was very quick, then be prepared for the obligatory time share pitch. Virtually every hotel of this sort is a time share property. If you want the perks they are offering to take the presentation (ours was about $300 in discounts for things that we planned on doing anyway) then figure you are going to spend about 3+ hours or so between the taxi ride, tour, and closing attempts. If you aren't interested, just politely decline and you probably won't be bothered about it again. One last tip: Don't be intimidated to take the tour or buy a time share that day. You can always change your mind later and I promise you they will be more than happy to accommodate you at a later time regardless of the "it has to be today" pitch. A lot of other good information in these reviews. Hope this helps.
