“We will be back next year”
What can I say ,great hotel ,great food , nice personel , rooms is great . I beenbefore in different places so i can tell that this vacation is much cheaper and better that go to the florida .
“best vacation ever”
My son and I take a trip together every spring break and have stayed and many AI's. This was by far the best. The pool is gigantic and the whole resort is just beautiful. The entertainment staff become fast friends and there is always something fun to do. Dont miss the nightly shows and the pre-show. They really get you involved and I have never had so much fun at a resort. The food was as to be expected at an all inclusive ...oddly the Oriental night at the buffet produced some of the best Asian food I have had in a long time. Cant wait to try another Iberostar!
“This was our second trip this year We will be back in May”
Great place for children Fun things to do Room service great It was a weird weather whilethere in Dec The Star Kids help if you need help
“Wonderful Experience!”
The hotel and grounds are so beautiful. Our room was a jr. suite with a nice sitting area and balcony. The mini bar items are included in your all inclusive as are so many beautiful and delicious restaraunts, room service and buffets. We had Japanese with a great and fun presentation the first night(our personal favorite) and enjoyed the seafood, steakhouse and French restaurants the rest of the week. Next time we'll try some of the others. The buffets were really good with a lot of variety and even the beach burger type bar was great! We loved all the pools and the staff is attentive and fun. There are activities going on all week for you to take your pick whether water volleyball, spa services (massage on the beach too) or merenge dance lessons, you can stay as busy or relaxed as you like. There are shows every night. We enjoyed the Vegas Review and the Boogie Nights the best! We tipped for our services throughout the week with dollars and could see that everyone really appreciates that. The resort is very big, connecting with 3 other Iberostar resorts, 2 of which we had access to and could enjoy their restaraunts, shows and amenities as well. If walking through beautiful grounds isn't your thing..the bell staff will come and pick you up at any time and take you wherever you want to go. We are new fans of the "Blue Hawaiian" drinks but we got to try some wonderful icey cold beverages "poolside", on the beach or in the pools waterfall bar too...love that all inclusive!.
“Excellent Complete Resort”
Rooms and bars are great. Many dining options and pool and beach activities. Weather consistently sunny with breeze in late May. Service outstanding.
“Iberostar Paraiso Maya”
If you don't mind rooms without an ocean view, this is a great place to stay. They have several pools including a wave pool and lazy river. Since the Iberostar resorts are next to each other, the beach is quite large. This was our second trip. The quality of the buffet food has dropped significantly. Three years ago, it was the best we have experienced. It was barely mediocre on this trip - much less selection and only passable quality. The restaurants are still quite good but, require a reservation with limited availability. The resort has a small shopping center with stores, bars and an ice cream parlor (all inclusive - for food and beverage). There is also a main show in the evening. The nightlife, however, doesn't seem to "happen". It is very passive in the evening which may or may not be your preference. There are, though, shuttles to Playa del Carmen until 10 p.m. The cost is $5.00 each way. Aside from a couple of instances, the staff is generally very accommodating and friendly. Each building has a concierge to address all your needs. Overall, I would reccommend this resort. I miss the ocean view (resort built perpendicular to ocean to reduce hurricane damage) and excitement of most resort's night life. The Paraiso Maya does make up for it with it's large pools and nice beach. The kids love this place.
“Fantastic - already planning a return trip!!”
Iberostar Maya was amazing. My husband and I had never been to an all-inclusive resort and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were immaculate, in fact the entire property was pristine!! The food was even better than I had imagined. We ate at the buffet for dinner 2 times as well as ate at the Mexican and the Seafood al a carte restaurants - everything was very good. The beach is white with soft sand. The beach bar, restrooms and snack center were awesome! Once at the beach we didn't need to leave for anything. The pools were super clean and loved all of them. The wave pool was really fun, but I particularly loved the lazy river!! We are very excited to return with our children - they will love it!!
“Fascinated with Iberostar Paraiso Maya”
I was delighted with the Iberostar Paraiso Maya resort. They provide an outstanding service and great food. Guests have unlimited access to gala dinners and reservation availability. Otherwise, buffet style restaurant service is also wonderful. Staff is unbelievable helpful and caring. They seem to share a common goal a 'customer satisfaction'. If you like to spend time in the pools; then, their swimming pools are very accommodating for all customer taste all-the-way from shallow to deep, sunny to shaded, wave-pools, and more. Beaches are also fascinating; waters are nice and clean. Room service is phenomenally clean. All my respects to those employees working countless hours, while their guests spend time treated as kings and queens. If you are concerned about safety, this region is pretty safe.
“Great First Time Experience”
We had never stayed at an "inclusive facility" previously and were unsure what to expect. However, it exceeded any expectations we might have had and provided a very enjoyable week's vacation experience. In fact, some of our party were reluctant to leave and go home! We would certainly recommend the facility and its service to others.
“Fantastic Resort!”
This resort was spectacular. The service was outstanding. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, the grounds were lush and lovely and the food was good. We would absolutely return ourselves and will recommend this resort to our friends and family.
