“unbelievable”
I am a world traveler and this was over the top Service was even better the one and only Palmia In Cabo. I would go back here anytime I loved it better than grand wailea in Maui. Number one destination for wedding. I am going back.
“Wonderful Experience at the Lindo”
The hotel was marvelous and we enjoyed every second we spent there. There are some restaurants that are much better than other, for example the italian at the maya was terrible. We also were disappointed when we jut wanted to walk through the Grand to see if we should book that hotel next time and one of the Staff came to us very rudely and told us we could not be there and followed us out. We understand that we did not pay for that one but we wanted to see if we should book that one next time. Honestly the Lindo and all properties were amazing in how they combined nature with everything. We will go back maybe even in June or July if the price is right.
“Paradise!!!!”
We had an amazing vacation at the Iberostar. The staff was beyond welcoming. The grounds beautifully manicure, food delicious and beach just incredible. We had a nice size bedroom and patio that was well kept. Can't wait for our next visit!
“Nice visit”
We have stayed at different Iberostar brand of hotels on 3 occasions. They are all very similar: room size, restaurants and food quality, service and amenities. The Lindo is one of their larger hotels. The rooms are a nice size but the beds are always rock hard. We had to request a mattress pad after one night. They are many water features at the Lindo (several different pools and a 'Lazy River') but not heated so all the pools were freezing cold in December. However, the beach is close and gorgeous with plenty of space. It appears to be very crowded with lots of 'saved' lounges but you can always easily find as many lounges as you need. The beach has soft white sand and the water was incredibly warm and clear with very gentle waves which was great for the kids. We ate at all the specialty restaurants and the buffet. The buffet is what you would expect: lots of choices, none particularly great. But you can always find something that is ok. The specialty restaurants (seafood, Italian, etc) seemed to have nice meals that you order from the menu, but curiously, every time, the food arrived at the table warm to cold. I believe they prepare all the dishes earlier. Several times we asked to have meals reheated, but it didn't help. I don't think they have microwaves. The best is the Japanese Teppan dining where the food is made right in front of you. But stay away from the sushi. You will certainly have a pleasant visit at the Lindo, where they do try very hard.
“Wonderful Resort”
Great resort, well maintained. When we first arrived, we were overwhelmed by the size. Iberostar beach, lindo and Maya share a lot of the same facilities. By our fifth night, got used to the whole layout, but we were leaving the next day :-( On the first two days, lots of seaweed at the beach, but it was gone by day 3. I don't know if it had been cleaned ( which I think was the case) or seaweed was less prevalent due to less wind and thus, less waves. Regardless, beach was great. Multiple pools were lovely. Multiple palapas available by both near beach and pool. Even though signs posted say that you are not supposed to reserve palapas, people do. The choice spots seem to be reserved by 10 am! Felt very safe there. Food of great quality. Grounds and room were immaculately kept. Numerous activities...entertainment staff were very friendly and energetic. Would highly recommend iberostar lindo to anyone looking for a great all-inclusive vacation. Will surely return
“Best hotel yet...”
I will keep this short.. The beach was great. There are some rocks in areas but just move left or right, and you'll be fine. The hotel staff is A #1.. the food is good..the buffet dinner is not to good..but for breakfast it is good. Stick with the specialty restaurants and you'll be fine..if you need wifi. Go to the main bar at hotel Maya...(it has a huge snake over the bar)...this place is great for kids and has many options fOr them as well..I do not have kids, and still loved this Place. There is so much more that I want to write but don't have the time. I've been to Mexico six times...this is the only hotel I want to return too over and over.
“Definitely would go back again!”
Our experience at the Maya was outstanding overall. We would both go back there again in a heartbeat. Some of the highlights are the big clean suites. The buffets and specialty restaurants served food and drinks that were so good that I had to slow down eating after 3 days because I was so stuffed. The late show every night was very entertaining. The resort grounds were very clean and well taken care of. Booking excursions with Best Day travel was very easy with no suprises. We went to Dolphinaris and had a wonderfull experience with the dolphins. There were hardly any flying insects to speak of. We had our bedroom slider open to the balcony during the early evening and only got maybe 2 or 3 moskito bites all week. Here are the negatives from the trip. If you want a lounge chair by the pool be prepaired to wake up earlier than 8:00am to put beach towels down to mark your chairs. We had to wait about 20-25 minutes at the airport until Best day had enough people to fill the shuttle bus, but with gas prices I don't blame them. Not a big deal to us because we are not in a rush during vacation. The ocean water was too wavy to do any kind of leisure snorkling. The water visiblity was less than optimal. Maybe its better in summer? We overheard someone complaining that the milk didn't taste like back at home which seams a bit too picky to us. FYi..Hot tubs are not hot if that's important to you.
“Very Impressed with the service”
The hotel service was excellent, the beach was in a wonderful location. Loved the specialty restaurants -- The Gourmet restaurant, the Steakhouse and the seafood at the Mediterranean restaurant was just great. To top it off, I enjoyed the concierge service -- made me feel special.... We've stayed at their sister properties Iberostar Del Mar and Iberostar Quetzal several times in the past and I was very happy at those locations... but for a little bit more, you get a lot more at the Iberostar Lindo. We are definately going back there again and perhaps also trying out the Iberostar Maya which is supposed to be even better!!
“Excellent Resort”
This place was very beautiful & well kept. The food in the speciality resstaurants was very good. The staff could not do enough for their guest. The grounds were well kept & very clean. The pools were great. The beach was great & you do not need water shoes. We had problems with our safe & it was fixed within a few minutes. I loved this resort & would go back. I been to other resorts in Mexico & Jamaica & I have to say this is one of the best.
“Mexico”
Perfectly Wonderful !! Will stay here again. Good food, nice clean room. Awesome Pools. The Star friends were absolutely Awesome! Concierge was ok. Didn't particularly like having to make dinner reservations days in advance , however turned out to be ok after all. Very accommodating restaurant staff. Found out later that the hotel does not accept U.S Currency, according to a new law. If you stayed here and wrote a bad review there is something wrong with you!
