“Great Hotel! would surely go back. Keep the price low. Great value!”

It was AMAZING! I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist late at night. Was received with a smile, and were taken to my room. The receptionist even helped out with the luggage (as there is no bell boys). During my stay, me and my girlfriend met the receptionist of each shift (3 of them) and each of them was equally as nice and friendly. It's Truly amazing to have someone greet you with such happiness. The hotel was also very beautiful, much more than we expected. Clean and spacious rooms, clean pool, great and modern-rustic decoration. Free Wi-Fi, and a PC for anyone to use turned on all 24 hours (also with Free internet), which was very useful! Highly recommended hotel for the low fee it charged (we can't post actual numbers)

“Wonderful Hotel to stay at in Playa del Carmen!”

The hotel was awesome and a great location to stay at. The room was clean and service was great. When I had an allergic reaction to my eye the front desk called a doctor to come to the hotel for me. The bed was firm but we never had a problem sleeping on it. Our room was right next to the pool area and it was beautiful and relaxing. The area the hotel was at was quiet and right around the corner from fifth avenue. The hotel gave us towels for the beach everyday and 1/2 off discount passes to Mamitas beach club. Ah Cacao and Babe's are right around the corner. La Cueva del Chango is a few blocks north off of fifth and 38th. We didn't like Playa del Carmen, but we loved our hotel. The only thing would be the water pressure in the shower and the water wasn't as hot as I would like it. But we were in the heat of summer so I didn't need the water hot.

“Great Staff”

I stayed here for 2 nights, the rooms are clean and the most important the staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything is very close to the hotel....I would stay here again.

“The nicest hotel in Rodney Bay”

There is not a nicer hotel in Rodney Bay area. There may not be a nicer hotel on the island (thats not All-Inclusive). The beach is very near by (about a 3-5min walk). There many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean. The pool was nice (although I never swam in it). And there is a restaurant on-site with very good food. We drove around the entire island and we did not see a nicer area to stay. There are AI resorts, they may be nice, if you are into that. And there are more city like areas, but I don't think there was another area where you could go out and walk to dinner and drinks every night.

“Excellent economy hotel”

Have stayed here several times in prior years under the original owner. Always very happy with it. This is first time under the new owners (after 3 year absence). Equally happy this time. Very well run, clean, comfortable,friendly. Convenient to one of the best beaches. Convenient to shops, resturants, bars. Good value.

“Friendly, helpful, clean”

Awesome hotel 3 blocks (5min walk) to the beach. The hotel is right outside all the bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. Its conveniently placed on the corner of the block so all the hussle and bustle noise does not enter your room. GREAT HOTEL! Also they have a pool!

“Excellent value hotel”

The hotel was lovely- it was not new, but the rooms were clean and pleasant. The area is nice- it is the north part of town which is a bit quieter, but still only a block from 5th Ave and 2.5 blocks from the beach and Mamitas beach club. The pool is gorgeous. We had a lovely time. Our only (very minor) complaint is there was no coffee in the room or the lobby, and NOTHING in Playa opens till 7am- as we are early risers, this was a bit inconvenient, but we would stay there again anyway- for the money, we couldn't have stayed anywhere nicer.

“charming”

this hotel is located at one end of the quinta avenida (1 block away). It thus quiet but close to everything. It a small hotel with lots of charm with very decent decently . we loved the shower and direct acces from the little balcony to the pool. The staff at the front desk wqs very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and woudl go back again.

“Bang for the Buck!”

Well, I'm not sure that this is the cheapest hotel but if you're looking for a place that isn't right on the beach (and fake resorty, and way too expensive), but still 2 blocks away, and small....then this is your place. it is absolutely adorable, clean, and the staff is really great. there is a cute restaurant in the hotel and a small pool. they also had free internet (just one computer, but it was nice for planning day trips). the rooms all have balconies, fans, and AC. We had international cable also. It is a no frills kind of place but I definitely recommend it to budget to moderate travelers.

“Cozy and very pretty.”

The hotel was very cozy. Very pretty landscape and flowers. The pool was perfect. Staff was polite and very helpful. The only thing....very hard beds. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel. We would stay there again.
