The Kinbé is located close to 5th Avenue and just 50 meters from the beach.This boutique hotel, set within lush tropical gardens features with 29 rooms, is an inspired fusion of comfort, charm and class.
The distinctly chic feel offers the guest a unique experience in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
The reception offers 24 hours front desk with a courteous, friendly and multilingual staff; info and tips about the area, assistance w/booking tours and excursions as well as car and scooter rentals, snorkelling and diving.
Also laundry service 24 hours delivery, transportation to/from Cancun airport (additional charge, on request).
The staff can also organize tours in the Yucatan peninsula. Playa Del Carmen is a very good point of departure for visit the amazing Maya’s ruins, like the most famous Chichen-Itza, Tulum, Coba’ and also the beautiful natural marine parks on the coast as X-caret and Xel-ha.
We collaborate with 2 beach clubs. One is located 50 meters walking from Kinbé; the second in the biggest beach of Playa del Carmen, only 10 minutes walking. Both beach clubs have restaurant, beach, bar and water sports and provide with special discounts for our guests over deckchairs and beach umbrella rent, food and drinks.
Parking: just one block from the hotel there is a private parking or guest can safety leave theirs car nearby.

“Home away from Home!”
We love this hotel. We have stayed at this hotel 4 times. They have the most amazing staff. They are always very helpful and caring. They made our stays special each time. The hotel is always being updated and is extremely clean. The hotel is close to the beach and 5th ave. You couldn't want more. We love Kinbe!!!!!!!
“Strategic location”
The hotel was in an awesome spot, couple steps to both the sea and the fifth avenue. There was an amazing garden and terrace with ocean view, where we enjoyed some drinks taken just out of the door, and we saw the sunset. It could be not so comfortable for elderly or people with disabilities cause of the wood stairs to get to the apartments. for the location and the appearence it deserves a lot!!
“PERFECT LONG WEEKEND GETAWAY”
WONDERFUL HOTEL FOR PRICE AND LOCATION. THE STAFF COULDN'T BE MORE HELPFUL OR FRIENDLY. THE ROOM WAS NICE SIZE AND WELL DONE. SMALLISH, BUT STYLISH BATHROOM. VERY CLEAN AND WELL MANAGED.
“Beautiful Kinbe”
great deal for the price, super close to the beach and the staff were all helpful and courteous. beds were comfy (and without mildew as mentioned in previous). only complaints are noisy A/C and little hot water.

Hotel Kinbe is the best hotel we've ever stayed at, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the location is great, not even a minutes walk to the beach, and a minute in the other direction to all the shops and restaurants, we had one of the rooms overlooking the pool, the room was huge, and really pretty, the bathroom had a big walk in shower with a central shower head and jets at the side, and it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony listening to the waterfall, we really loved the place and if we ever go back to playa del carmen, which we would certainly love to, this is definately where we will stay, totally recommended
“Very Cute”
Nice Treehouse style hotel about a block from the beach with a outdoor lounge on the roof. We enjoyed it and would stay there again, especially for the price.
“Playa Del Carmen's Perfect Hotel”
Very nice hotel. Perfecty located so you can enjoy all the great restaurants and Bars off 5th St. Will stay there on my next visit. Very friendly Staff .

“What a relief...”
We were only suppose to stay at the Kinbe one night of our 9-night vacation...but we ended up making it three. The hotel was very accomidating to our last minute travel changes. I had stayed with the hotel in 2003 on my honeymoon and loved it then. Since then, the hotel has undergone renovations...but has kept the same friendly and outstanding customer service it has always had. From the front door staff, to security at night, to the cleaning ladies...everyone greets you with a smile and is willing to do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as they can. Our only wish is that our suite had a balcony to sit on at night. This not a problem, just something we will ask for next time we return as they are available. We recommend the Kinbe, not only for all that I mentioned above but also for its location...that being steps from Avieda 5 and the beach. Parking is a little bit of a challenge, as there is no real parking lot for this hotel...but you are allowed to unload and load the car right in front..and then park on the street elsewhere. A challenge well worth the stay.
“Enjoyed the Kinbe so much.”
Everyone working here was smart, urbane, pleasant, multilingual, attractive, helpful. Obviously I can't say enough. Location is excellent. Close to everything. Playa Del Carmen is an easy place to be in and is totally relaxing. Kinbe is an extension of all that. My room on the garden courtyard second floor was tiny and entirely adequate. Great bathroom with whimsical tile and stone inlayed shower. Always clean and well maintained. The owners of the Hotel Kinbe have created a simple, chic, and casual atmosphere from which to venture into the dewey touristic balm of Playa Del Carmen. No frills and reasonably priced.
