“Gran Palladium Kanetka”
Decided at the last minute to join my daughter and family at this particular resort. As there are five hotels under one umbrella so to speak, it was difficult knowing exactly how far i was from them. As it turned out I was quite a distance and when I attempted to modify my reservation. They were staying in a much cheaper area and I had to sign a release for you telling you that i would take a cheaper room to be near them. This was quite stressfull for me as I am a senior traveling alone. Had my son-in-law not assisted me (he speaks spanish) it would have been more difficult.
“Luis”
at first I hesitated wether to go or not to an all inclusive. I got so bad experiences in this all inclusives such as long time wating for restaurants, low quality drinks etc..also, I thought the service was not good. Palladium Hotel was much better than expected, food is great, you dont have to wait for geting a table and also, you get this restaurants "a la carte" that really worth it. The service is also great, people is so friendly (of course in Mexico everybody is friendly they know how to take care of you). The quality of drinks are so good, they even offer champagne (and not cheap, very good quality). So if you are hesitating wether to go or not to an all inclusive go to Palladium Hotel, is by far the best all inclusive hotel. Also the Hotel is so nice, lots of pools and the SPA is really great, is great also that you have access to the pools, saunas and instalations (and you don't have to pay extra fees). This is a great Hotel, dont hesitate to go there! and is in Mexico! what else you can ask for?
“Parfait a tout point de vue”
Chambres tres spacieuses, Personnel accueillant, Cadre de l'hotel tres joli, ma femme et moi avons passe la bas un voyage de noce formidable. petit bemol pour la plage, un peu trop de cailloux au bord de l'eau, presque impossible de se baigner pied nus
“Loved It!!”
The food was good. There was never any waiting at the restaurants. The employees were very nice (especially the activity personal). The rooms were clean. The beach was extremely nice; there was plenty of seating at the beach.
“First trip to Palladium, won't be the last!”
We have taken 7 trips to the Akumal area, stayed at 4 all inclusive resorts (ABR, Club Maeva, Gran Bahia Principe and now Palladium) and 3 condos. This was definitely our favorite AI. Food was excellent, liquor was pretty good (tequila selection was ok, GBP's was better). Riviera junior suite was fantastic, everything was just like new. Bed was firm but comfortable, pillows were crappy at best. This is the only bad thing about the Palladium. They're livable but consider bringing your own if you have neck issues. We ate at the Punta Emilia and El Dorado a la cartes and loved them both. Beach BBQ was fun, and the buffets were great. Wine is ok, we liked the rosado the best. Coffee is ok, espresso is much better. This was a total R&R vacation so we didn't leave the resort, but in our previous trips we have visited Tulum, Coba, Chichen Itza and Ek Balam. If you have time, a trip to Valladolid and Ek Balam is fantastic and worth doing.
“Best Choice”
Great place to stay; cannot wait to go back. We spent a week in one of the Royal Jr. Suites and it was worth the little extra cost. Additional benefits received for staying in the Royal area are; unlimited reservations for ala carte restaurants, daily refills on mini-fridge, no deposit required on towels for pool, free access to internet café, separate lobby for check-in, and a restaurant and pool for royal guests only. Found staff to be very friendly and always busy cleaning, gardening, etc. Villas are three stories with no elevators but they carry your bags up for you. The beach was beautiful, always able to find a lounger and shade. Did not go in the sea but saw lots of people swimming and snorkeling. Guests have access to all four resorts Colonial, Kantenah, White Sands and Riviera. Things are spread out which requires quite a bit of walking, but with all the food and drink available, it is probably not a bad idea to walk!! It also give the illusion of never feeling overcrowded. Buffets were reasonable and we tried some of the ala carte restaurants; Italian and Ribs were OK, preferred the Brazilian. Never got to check out the spa or do many of the other activities, just not enough time. Playa del Carmen is only 20 minutes away and you can either take the collectivo (public transport)for $2 per person which stops in front of the hotel, or you can take a taxi for $20. We saw the dock for a ferries to Cozumel, but did not take one.
“Very Nice Resort”
Nice spa, beautiful beach and great service. By chosing the Royal section you benefit from the facilities and variety offered by a huge resort without losing the intimacy of a smaller venue. Great place to rest, we will probably go back.
“2nd time back”
This is our second time back to the resort. We stayed in a suite in the Riviera. The room was very nice however if we went back I think I would stay again in the Mayan suites on the Colonial side. There seemed to be alot more action on the colonial side. White sands and Riviera was not as busy. The food overall was good, would not say excellent. It is a very big resort make sure you like walking, however they do provide alot of transportation for getting around as long as you don't mind waiting for 5 - 10 mins. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Make sure you vist the spa. Its free to use the pools and steamroom. Very relaxing. Itsjust over an hour to Cancun airport, would recommend private transport. We used Cancun Transfers (picked us up in an nice Escalade $160 round trip). 20min to Playa ($26 US). Would definetly go back.
“Re-Lax-Ing”
A wonderful resort. I want to bring my family and friends back.
“LOVE THE GRAND PALLADIUM RESORTS!!!”
