“Already planning to go back!”
I traveled with my wife and 23-month old daughter in early March 2012. Guests have access to GBP - Coba, Tulum, and Akumal. The complex is HUGE, but we never waited more than 5 minutes for a shuttle that would take us wherever we liked. There are 4 buffets (Tulum had best selection), 22 bars (liked the Coba Premier bar the best - anyone is allowed access - not just Premier guests), and numerous a la carte restaurants (although you only get 3 a la cartes per week; if traveling with a child, get a 5:30 seating, otherwise meals take a VERY long time). Our room and the grounds were immaculate (recommend Villas 24-26 - quiet with central location). Many pools to choose from - we liked the Coba "quiet" pool, which had a gradual sloping incline that was perfect for our daughter. Beach was fantastic - ocean at the Akumal beach is protected from waves, so very calm for swimming and watching fish, and the sand is a gradual slope - again good for kids. Very fast check-in (arrived at 6pm) and check-out (noon). Expedia guests check in at the Premier Lobby, which is less crowded. Staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful.

clean, very accomidating, courtious staff , great food. keep curtains shut at night in fear of the misquitoes. second time there, and it won't be the last! only place we want to go! i would recommend this place to my mom!
“Wonderful Trip”
Wonderful trip Only caveat is buffet food is not consistant between locations on property. We found Akumal and Tulun very good while Coba Premier was less satisfactory. Because it is all inclusive if you find a poor layout leave and try another

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Bahia Principe Coba. In fact my family and I are already planning on coming back next winter. There were a couple minor negatives to this hotel, but the overall value was great. I would like to thank the staff at Grand Bahia for being so welcoming and friendly!!!
“Nice family resort for the money.”
This resort was nice. The food could have been a little better, but there was a lot of variety at the buffet. The rooms were nice and clean. There were a lot of activities for children and young adults. Beach was beautiful. We really liked the shopping on site at the Hacienda Isabella. We would possibly stay again, but we would bring the kids back next time.

Awesome. The resort was great! Our return flight with Delta got cancelled and they had already re-booked us on a better flight home! It couldn't have been better!
“Amazing Resort!!!”
Great resort for families: great pool, excellent food, very clean, wow on the service. A real 5 star, everyoneis so friendly and many choices for food. Downfall: a good 1hr 1/2 from airport, found 2 cockroaches in room. **Use Best Day Travels to get to the resort they are SO nice, our flight was delayed by 24hrs, and they still honoured our voucher.
