“High quality!”
The hotel is really excelent. Nice rooms, excelent facilities, view, etc. Attached is El Camaleon, golf court where a PGA tournament will be held in February. Do not miss this one
“1st class hotel and staff!”
This hotel was very nice and had excellent customer service! The food was incredible, the grounds were very well maintained and lush, the room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the ocean was amazing! If you make a reservation at the front desk of the hotel, you can schedule a 40 minute boat ride around the resort. This was one of my favorite things that we did because we saw lots of wildlife! We would definitely stay at the Mayakoba again!
“CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK”
Excelent choice for families with Teenagers and Golf lovers.
“We love Matakoba”
Our room was great. We enjoyed the rain shower and beautiful bathroom. The staff was the star. Everyone went out of their way to take care of us. The boat tour and the BMW bicycles were hits with my daughter. The food is a bit pricey so since there are not a lot of places you can walk to you may want to make use of the fridge we had in our room. We did enjoy the food my daughter loved the appetizers at the lobby lounge. The grounds and the golf course were magnificent. We took advantage of all the pools and the beach was great. We found the nearby Nature Parks to be a bounus for our 13 year old.
“Paradise!”
There are no words to explain Mayakoba... it is indeed paradise.
“I'm going again in 4 weeks with my children!!!”
Incredible property Superb resort Beautiful beach Excellent food Excellent spa
“a unique and special place”
Fairmont Mayakoba is a really unique set up that my family (me, husband, 2 kids under 4) really enjoyed. It was very family friendly. The casitas are set on the lagoon and each one feels so private. The landscaping and architecture is so phenomenal at creating this effect. But if you want ocean views, there are only a few very high end rooms with this option. We did not mind at all. Our kids loved taking the golf cart type shuttles to the beach. Very easy to pick up a bike to get around. The main pool area is so nice. The pool is set up with all these nooks and crannies and a nice little kiddie and baby pool area. Kids club was cute and fun. The food is actually really good and service always excellent and accomodating. Only cons are that if you want to get off the resort, Playa del Carmen is a $20 cab ride. Much of the beach has washed away so it is quite small compared to many of the cancun/playa area beaches. We really loved it.
“place to be pampered”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was beautiful. We were pampered at the spa. Enjoyed fine dining!!
“Close to Paradise!”
Very impressive! We were treated like royalty throughout our stay. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The service was excellent. The beach was gorgeous, the grounds impeccibly maintained, and the water channels were a great touch. Outstanding golf course.
“Can´t wait to go back!!”
