“Best place to relax!”

Hotel Hacienda Vista Real & Spa, is the best place to relax and have great vacations. Great location and walking distance to Town and Beach. If you like to walk, this is the right place, you can also get around in Taxi, or rent a Bike. I am planing going back soon with friends and family.

“Will definetely be back”

This is such a beautiful hotel with a very attentive staff. I felt so comfortable and taken care of. I would recommend this hotel if you want to get away from busy Cancun or even some parts of Playa. Not far from 5th. Easy access to all attractions

“Great place to stay!”

Wow!!!! What a beautiful hotel. It is all the little details that make it so special. About a 15min. walk to Playa del Carmen...which we really enjoyed after a day of eating and drinking. Overall a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. We would definitely stay there again!

“A nice and peaceful place to relax and rest...”

Great find! It has just about everything one would need for relaxing and getting away from the daily noise and grind. It's the perfect distance from 5th Street and all the usual Playa stuff one wants to see and take in at certain times during a vacation there, but still away enough not to be bothered by noise and traffic. The staff is great and very accommodating and the breakfast buffet is very good with a variety of selection. If I had anything at all to say was questionable for this place, it would be the amount of help they employ for maintenance. I asked to replace a lawn-chair off my patio and it took almost all day because there just weren't enough people to get to it promptly. But that's minuscule compared to the rest I've mentioned above. Plus, there is a corner about 5 minutes walk that has a convenient store and 4 restaurants... and one of them, called "Bistro Playacar" was phenomenal. I highly recommend this hotel for people who want and relaxing and pleasing place to chill and rest.

“Old World Elegance”

Hacienda Vista Real was an elegant, old world beautiful, clean and comfortable treasure. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. The pool and grounds, which are surrounded by a lake and golf course, are well kept and beautiful. I truly enjoyed the large tile floors boundaried by coral, the varied lighting in the room and the large vanity area. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The buffet breakfast served from 7:30 until 11:30 was well presented and tasty. From eggs, potatoes, and pancakes to cactus, lentils and frijoles, there was truly more than enough variety for everyone.

“Beautifull serene Hotel & Spa!!”

Upon arriving at Hacienda Vista Real we were super impressed! It is beautifully nestled away in an uptown type area with mansions and a golf course. Everything was artistic and beautiful! Our room was realy nice and the shower was awesome, but the bed was less than comfortable. Despite the beauty of the place, the service was lacking at the poolside Bar downstairs. Twice we waited for over 10 minutes before being approached..once we actually just left and went into town. Service did redeem themselves a bit our last night when we ate dinner at the rooftop restaraunt (food was amazing!) and bar and were served on a poolside lounging king sized bed!! The only other issue was that it isn't exactly on the beach, but has a private beach club...with 2 departing times and 2 times coming back, but you would have to be there for at least 5 hours unless you drove yourself, and we wanted to fill our days with other things as well so never got to go to the private beach. We rented a scooter and it was only like a 5 minute drive to downtown playa del carmen!

“Very Nice hotel”

We were celebrating our first aniversary in February. We were very excited when getting to the hotel and the champagne that was given to us as we walked in the door. I would like overall we liked the hotel much however the spa is one of the main attractions of the hotel and was open but under major construction. Just wish we were notified of this prior to booking. We still got a spa massage but could not enjoy the spa experience to the fullest. The hotel itself was very accomidating for a special romantic dinner they allowed me to set up in the emperial room suite. Like I said we had a good time but would have enjoyed the spa more if at least notified of the construction within the spa.

“hotel ok, belle structure”

“boutique hotel worth a try”

air conditioned failed 3 times in a 12 day stay but a call to the front desk promptly restarted system. electricity went off for a 3 hour period. an annoying mechanical noise coming from the roof permeated our 3rd floor unit. the 1 bedroom unit with balcony overlooking a golf course was beautiful but had a too small bathroom for a party of 3 and our toiletries. kitchen lacked a can or bottle opener which hampered serious cooking in the room. no store at hotel or walking distance. reliable shuttle left hotel 2 times in the am and 2 times in pm for return. beautiful private beach with shade, comfortable lounges and hamocks, and a beach restaurant serving drinks and very tasty and resonably priced food. wonderful poolside restaurant served a tasty breakfast. a great and filling continental breakfast expensive at $13, but was included with an internet special. dinner meals delicious but served colder than prefered. spa restaurant "jasmin" pretentious and cold literally and figuratively.
