Guests have a choice of villas or studios. The spacious villas feature balconies, golf-course views, separate living areas, two TVs, and some with jetted tubs (not guaranteed).
Both villas and the smaller studios include complimentary bottled water and turndown service. Marble bathrooms may have separate showers and tubs or shower/tub combinations. Studios have a corridor view.
Villas and studios at Hacienda Vista Real Resort are located on three floors with exterior access (no elevators).

Complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily.
Iguana Bar - Bar open until mid-afternoon daily.
Pool Bar - Full bar, including tropical beverages. Light fare and snacks. Open from early morning until late evening.
Recreation
A freeform outdoor pool is located on the resort grounds.
Designed by Robert Von Hagge, the 18-hole Playacar Golf Club is adjacent to the resort. Other activities include fishing excursions, scuba diving, and parasailing.

“Hacienda Vista Real de Playa del Carmen: oasis de paix et de sécurité sur un terrain de golf”
L'Hacienda Vista Real est un oasis de paix, car il est situé loin de la ville et du bruit, et de sécurité car il se trouve à Playacar qui se soucie de la sécurité de ses résidents, ayant des agents de sécurité à chaque entrée du site. L'Hacienda, de style colonial, est un hôtel tranquille et propre offrant un délicieux petit déjeuner complet (style buffet). Le personnel est gentil, serviable et prêt à vous aider et répondre à toutes vos questions. Pour les amateurs de golf et de spa, c'est l'endroit idéal. On peut marcher jusqu'à Playa del Carmen à 20-30 minutes de marche ou prendre le taxi, ou l'autobus pour aller à plusieurs endroits. Mais il est recommandé de louer une voiture pour tout déplacement car, de cette façon, on peut vraiment découvrir cette magnifique région du Mexique. Je vous suggère Alamo, ils sont super gentils. Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet hôtel et espérons y retourner souvent.
“Exceeded expectations”
Room was spacious and elegant. Kitchen was furnished with new modern appliances. Balcony was larger than expected and could accomodate a large number of guests or to dine outside with the table and chairs provided. The dozen large pots of flowering plants was a nice added touch. Staff was knowledgeable in surrounding area and frequently arranged outside activities and transportation. Adjoining health spa was incredible. They had great facilities and a skilled professional staff. The meals we had were reasonable and well prepared. Staff also helped in finding other places in the area that would meet our needs (ice made with bottled water). Definite stay for someone that wants to see how the other side lives. Would not recommend for smaller kids unless you plan on spending most of your time away since it is more laid back with an emphasis on elegance.
“Best Hotel Ever”
Vista Real is an excellent hotel that I recommmend to all luxury travelers to Mexico. They offered us welcome drinks when we checked in the room; two days spa massage giveaway for free. It was the best hotel we ever stayed in our trip of Cancun.

“awesome place to stay, excellent value, great food”
we were a little unsure of what to expect from our hotel because the rates were so low and our last visit to cancun was not very good. we gave mexico another try a little further away from cancun this time and loved it. Playa de carmen is so much bettter than cancun and the resort and was great. The food was excellent and service was great. The hotel is beautiful, the spa area is unbelievable and the setting is perfect. We would recommend this place to anybody looking for an awesome vacation.
“Heaven on earth!!!!!!”
The Hacienda Vista Real is amazing!It is so beautiful and not a single detail is overlooked. From the serenity and the luxery of the spa, to the enormous suits, to the atractive and delicious food, to the island-like privacy of the beach club, everything is "top notch". The staff is friendly and most accomodating. The resort manager makes it his personel business to see that his guests are comfortable and satisfied.(I don't know when the poor man rests!! He seems to be avaliable day and night!)My young adult children and I felt like we were at a "vacatiion place of the rich and famous". (we are neither of these)Our thanks to everyone at this wonderful paradise!!!
“hacienda is cool little resort”
sweet surprise in playa. this hotel has all the goodness of a resort spa while being a quaint, friendly hotel. we were amazed at the amenities, friendliness of the staff and yet small community feel of hacienda. it is well located in that it's a $5 cab ride to downtown (you can walk it, too) and is peaceful too. good place to go if you want to relax.

Going to Playa del Carmen for business it´s not fair but if you stay here it could be
“The best kept secret!”
The spa really makes the experience of the hotel different then others. The drinks & food quality are far superior then a standard all inclusive. If you don't stay here, at least go to the spa. Be aware that this is a very quiet hotel.
“Great hotel for R&R”
Hotel was clean, quiet, safe and well equiped. The hotel was beautiful and has everything you need. The restaurants are great. The only disadvantage is that the beach and downtown are not in walking distance. It is also a bit hard to find at first. The staff is very helpfull and the place was empty. I would highly recomend this hotel for anyone.
