"The property is lush, tropical, with both sun and shad options. There are many trails to walk along, the gulf shores are rugged and beautiful. The inlet / beach for swimming is perfect, safe and there are lots of cute fish to admire. "

"The food was really good, and even though reservations to restaurants seemed booked at the start, there were plenty of cancellations and we were able to get reservations at the times and restaurants of our choice almost every time. The a la carte option was always great, though, so you don’t even need to worry about reservations. The pool activities were super fun and we loved playing beach volleyball with other guests. Our favorites were The Good Bar, the health juice bar, the crepes at the main buffet, the spa, the dolphins, the snorkeling, and general safe and beautiful ambiance. We had a great stay and we’re sad to leave. Ricardo, one of the bellhops, hooked us up with a rental car so we could explore Akumal Beach, Playa del Carmen, and other spots on our own. So much to do at the resort though, so no real need to leave. Would definitely recommend with or without kids. "

The beach was not as nice as other hotels I have been to in the Riviera Maya but it's not something I care about since my daughter enjoyed the pool all five days we were at this resort. I would go back to this resort in the future,, and I would recommend it to my family and friends. "
