The hotel room in the resort was excellent. The staff were really courteous and accommodating. Wonderful wonderful people. Beautiful beach, one of the best and the food at most restaurants were nice, except the mexican one.

“Loved It!”

We loved everything from the hotel to the staff. This hotel is like a jungle oasis. Only about 20min from Cancun Airport by taxi and 15min from Playa del Carmen. Playa Maroma is perfect if you just want to get away from all the busyness of a tourist city. Food was awesome for it being all inclusive. Bathrooms in room need to be updated, but if you are like us, we were hardly in our room so it was no biggie. We would definitely stay here again. Hotel was on the beach and was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

“Absolutely Georgeous!”

Catalonia Privileged Beach All Inclusive was fabulous! From the moment we got there until the second we left the customer service was amazing! All of the hotel staff was very helpful and attentive. They all spoke English, Spanish and many other languages so there was not too much of a language barrier. The hotel itself was perfectly maintained. I would reccomend this hotel to everyone! The food was wonderful as well. We were there in October so it was during thier slow season so there was NO wait or reservations needed at any of the restaurants or bars. The only downside was the bumpy, dirt road leading to the hotel. But once you arrived at that beautiful beach it was WELL worth the ride!

“Beautiful Beach !!!”

A couple from Illinois This was our 5th. time in Mexico, We chose this resort because we read reviews about the beautiful beach. It definitely is true. The waves are fun to play in and you could walk long distances in both directions. We went on vacation March 24th. thru the 31st. When we arrived we were taken to the privileged office where we received champagne,free visit to their spa, and 4 coupons to eat at the speciality restaurants. Our room was on the top floor in building 6. Our room was very nice except for the air conditioning. We saw lots of coatis when we ate at the buffet near the lobby. There was also a lunch buffet near the pool. The food and drinks were delicious and had a nice variety to choose from. The pool was refreshing and has different depths. There was several shops at the resort for buying souvenirs which made shopping easy. The shows weren't impressive. They also had a disco which we can't comment on. Overall the resort was very pretty and has a jungle atmosphere to it.

“BEST RIVERA MAYA BEACH!”

BEACH FRONT IS GREAT! CALM AND CLEAR WATERS. THE WHITE SAND IS SOFT. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND THE 24 HOUR BAR IS A PLUS IF YOU PARTY! I WOULD GO BACK IN A HEARTBEAT!

We can't say enough about how wonderful our trip was to the Catalonia Playa Moroma Resort. Our entire stay was perfect! The food was good and plenty and drinks were super tasty! The staff was friendly and full of smiles. It was our first time at an all-inclusive resort and we can't wait to go back! The beach was the most beautiful we've seen...soft and white...did I mention we can't wait to go back?

“The Best Family Vacation to Date”

Everything about this resort was pretty great! We loved being on the white, powdery beach, eating a snack at the creperie, and deciding where to go for dinner each night. We had our family of four and it was really great to be able to use the Kids' Club for a couple of hours a day so we could enjoy some time alone! The event staff at this resort were very talented. They were friendly, athletic and lead so many classes. Our favorite discovery was going to the shows the staff performed at the theatre. They were pretty amazing! Overall, we had a wonderful trip. The only negative I have to tell is that our room key wouldn't work at different times and we would be locked out of our room and it took the hotel a long time to get it fixed. That is never good when your child is in need of a nap!
