“Great 5th street location”
Hotel was comfortable but no refridg made it hard to keep any kind of food or drinks in the room. Great location on 5th ave but be ready for a little music from the bars on the street until 12 or 1 am.
“surprisingly cheap”
it is surprisingly cheap considering that it included breakfast which was good, freshly squeezed orange juice every moning. there's a pool by our room. parking was free although not the easiest to find especially at around 5PM where most people are arriving for a nightlife. at other times, parking is ok. room is clean and big. the tv was not so impressive though.
“Great location but no frills.”
Quite clean, friendly staff, right in the heart of the tourist zone of Playa del Carmen. Included breakfast at the cafe across the street was good, and cafe below the hotel was superb. However, the rooms were rather primitive - noisy old (but quite effective) air conditioner, no clock radio or phone to contact the front desk. No amenities such as shampoo - only a very sweet smelling liquid soap like in a school washroom. Tourist zone is lively and fun but quite noisy for sleeping - construction currently going on across the street, with one instance of loud all-night work whle they were pouring concrete.
