“Great vacation in Playa del Carmen!!”

My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful time in this beatiful hotel! We stayed in a junior suite. The room had a very good size, staff at the front desk were incredible friendly and helpful. The hotel is pretty new. The pool are is gorgeus and very quiet. The location is perfect, you can walk to all restaurants and bars from there. The only things that have to be improved are the elevator and better wi-fi signal in the rooms. In general, it is very good to stay. Definitely next time we go to Playa del Carmen we will choose Be Playa.

“Great new boutique hotel in Playa del Carmen”

This designer-style hotel opened brand new on December 24, 2010. I stayed on December 31st. There are 21 rooms, so it is very personal. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are large and modern, and there is plenty of lighting. The hotel is one block from 5th Avenue, the pedestrian street in Playa del Carmen, which has all of the restaurants, bars, shops, etc. And it is only two blocks from a nice private beach club. The staff are very friendly and helpful. On the first floor is a sushi restaurant that looks like it is in South Beach. And the rooftop has a lounge and pool with beautiful views of the city. I had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the Be Playa hotel in Playa del Carmen.

“petit déjeuner a revoir”

En ce qui concerne la chambre et sa situation géographique rien à redire ; très satisfaisant par contre pour ce qui est du petit-déjeuner c'est vraiment DEPLORABLE (jus d'orange, fruits, café un croissant et 1/2 tranche de pain de mie) vu que ns ne prenions ni jus d'orange ni croissant ni fruits ns voulions un peu plus de pain de mie toasté il ns a été facturé un supplément pour ça et si nous faisions une excursion ns n'avions pas de petit-déj. vu que ns partions à 8h et que le petit déj. était servi qu'à partir de 8h. Donc à revoir car c'est le "truc" qui gache un peu tout on a été obligé de s'acheter du pain de mie que ns amenions tous les matins c'est "petit".

“Don't waste your money.”

When we arrived, there was a very strong odor of mosquito spray in our room. We were told that the entire building had to be sprayed. We asked to be moved and it was not possible. The smell eventually got better after three days. The plumbing was terrible. We could not flush toilet paper down the toilet and the shower drain was so slow that the water ran out to the sink area drain. Very small amount of storage for clothes. We had to stand on a chair to look into the safe. The bar area played loud music until after midnight. Everyday for a week, we came back to the room to kill a half dozen mosquitos. I can't understand how this hotel got such high ratings. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The location was very good near shops, beach and expensive restaurants.
