Barrio Latino Hotel is located really close to the beach and all you need in Playa del Carmen. A complimentary coffee and bread offered by the management is served each morning and also International calls, National calls and the use of a computer are available during daytime . The best wifi service we could install in town; wireless Internet access is complimentary and reaches every room and open area. .Event facilities measuring 60 square meters include meeting rooms for small groups. This hotel also offers a library, a concierge desk, and tour/ticket assistance. Currency exchange and tour assistance can be provided. Onsite parking is complimentary. Barrio Latino Hotel is a smoke-free property, which means that you can't smoke in room, but smoking is admitted in open spaces.

“Would be back in a heartbeat”
Staying here made our trip to Playa Del Carmen. The service was great and it was a great location close enough to the main strip but far enough away to not feel like you were in a tourist town. The staff were great and recommended great places and were always happy to help. It had a great vibe to it.

“Mavelouse stay return again!”
The perfect hotel. value for money. Very good location just 5 min walk to the beach 10 min to Wallmart. Room is very clean with modern furniture. Bath is also clean. Staff is professional and very friendly! Free overseas call and internet access.
“A great deal off the beaten path”
A small hotel but very quaint and a great value for the $. Service was exceptional and we always felt very safe. Rooms were basic, but always clean, beds slightly uncomfortable but that wasn't a huge deal. Location of hotel is great, a few blocks away from the busy 5th Ave. Continental breakfast was nice. I would recommend this hotel for couples and people who want a real Mexico experience (its not a 5 star resort but has everything you need) Also, be sure to bring beach towels (or buy some from the street vendors or wal mart) as they prefer you don't bring theirs to the beach which is only a few blocks away.
“Great quiet hotel in right spot”
Our last nights in Mexico were at the Barrio Latino, and they were great. It was Semana Santa, and was therefore busy on the beaches. The online booking ahead was reassuring! The main thing that swung us to book with this hotel was the on site parking and the location (as well as great Trip Advisor reviews). The hotel was quiet, very friendly, next to great restaurants and only 200m from the water's edge. Only missing thing was complementary water! As others have noted, if you book the superior room, then all the WiFi and breakfasts, safe, AC are all included.
“Great little hotel”
We were very pleased with the facilities and service provided. The staff was excellent, and were interested in helping guests enjoy their stay. This secure hotel is conveniently located near the 5th Ave pedestrian street and only a couple of blocks from the bus station - also only minutes from the beach! Highly recommended.
“Perfect Location and a great price!!”
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful!!! I would come in daily and get some advice on where to go, what to eat, where to shop, etc. and they gave great recommendations. One staff person even went so far to show me the best snorkeling options using google earth. They were very nice and friendly. You could use their computer and make international calls free of charge which is really helpful when you are in town for a wedding. The rooms were clean and nice. I enjoyed laying out in the hammock in the mornings. The hotel was located right in the heart of Playa so that you could literally walk a short blocks to the beach, restaurants, shopping, clubs, collective taxis..etc..

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was pretty, simple and clean. The hotel is conveniently located to the beach~ about 3 short blocks away.

Sweet little hotel, conveniently located to beach and shopping/dining. Will stay there next time we are in PLaya del Carmen.
