Aventura Spa Palace All Inclusive offers 777 guestrooms in nine three-story buildings without elevators. Rooms feature two-person marble-platform spa tubs illuminated by baby spotlights. Balconies or ground-floor terraces provide sea, garden, or pool views. Decor includes pale-tile floors with decorative bands and white walls, ceilings, and crown molding. Bathrooms feature two-person showers. Terry-cloth bathrobes furnish lounging comfort. Ceiling fans offer cooling alternatives to rooms' air conditioning. Liquor dispensers hold rum, brandy, Scotch, and tequila. Minibars chill water, beer, and soft drinks.
Dining
The focus on well being extends to Aventura Spa Palace's seven restaurants and to the fresh juice bar at the indoor pool. As the sun sets and the night unfolds, you can choose from restaurants offering International, Italian, Oriental and Californian cuisines. Along the resort's 860-meter (940-yard) oceanfront are two placid saltwater inlets for swimming, water sports, and snorkeling. The inlets' sandy sides are furnished with lounge chairs and thatched-roof palapas for shade.
Palapas also border the resort's two freshwater freeform swimming pools, each containing jetted areas, swim-up bars, and shallow-water shelves for lounge chairs. The north pool measures 82 meters (90 yards) long and the South pool 206 meters (225 yards). Adjacent to the north pool is a rectangular sports pool with volleyball net.
A two-story pavilion with a stained-glass ceiling houses a heated pool approximately 13.75 meters (15 yards) square and two, eight-person spa tubs flank a cold plunge pool. The pool's expansive deck is furnished with thickly cushioned wrought-iron lounge chairs.
Kayaks and snorkeling gear are provided. An introductory scuba-diving lesson in the resort's dive pool is complimentary, and scuba-diving instruction and excursions are available through an independent operator for surcharges.
Fronted by a sea-view window-wall, an air-conditioned fitness center contains weight machines, cardio machines, free weights, and exercise rooms for classes such as spinning, aerobics, tae-bo, tai-chi, resistance-ball, and Pilates. Also available are a boxing area, a meditation/yoga temple, a climbing rock, a fitness/obstacle trail, a low-hedge maze, a miniature-golf course, and two lighted tennis courts.

“1st time in Mexico”
We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and this was our first time in Mexico. I took a gamble and booked this place just based off the reviews and pics on Expedia and I hit the jackpot.We heard all the horror stories from friends about what not to eat, don't drink the water, etc, but we had nothing but great food and accomadations at Adventura Palace. Great service from the staff and the resort was fantastic. One thing we learned being our first time is to stagger the day excursions a little bit. Didn't get to enjoy the resort until day 4 of our trip. All in all I would definitly recommend this place if you want to be treated like a king and queen.
“Can't wait to go back for an anniversary!!!”
This hotel is paradise!!! Everything about it was wonderful!! I would recommend it to anyone, but since I was a honeymooner, I'd definately recommend it more for the newlyweds, you are treated like king and queen! Even room service was amazing, how ironic is that? We will be going back in the coming years and bringing other couples along with us!
“Just as expected...it was great!!!”
The airport phase is the only thing I would change, but evething else was perfect!!!The staff was great, along with the service. I know tips are included, but we tiped anyways. There is no other source of income for the local people, so please be generous. The food was very good and so were the drinks. Trip to Chichen is a must, but plan for it!!!You will be very tired after it. Make sure you buy prepay transortation to the resort. It's worth every penny. When you arrive, after you go trough customs, there will be about 100 salesmen waiting. Just keep on walking and when you exit look for "best day". They represent expedia. They will take you to the resort and pick you up with time needed for departure.

“Oasis”
This hotel lives up to its billing. For those looking to be treated well and curteously every moment of your holiday this is the place for you. Whereas Cancun is fast, loud and energetic the Spa Palace is tranquil and relaxing. No beach to stroll if that is your thing. A $14USD trip to Play Del Carmen via taxi puts you on the beach and seemingly miles of little shops in which to barter. As others have written, the liquor is top shelf. The overall quality of evening dining is much better than anywhere we've stayed in Cancun. 24 hour room service was timely and the food well prepared. Our next trip will be to a sister property the Moon Palace. FYI, My first booking with Expedia. No hidden charges, well recognized even by luggage "goons" at the airport! lol Great detail in intineray. 100% satisfied!

“Not all inclusive”
The hotel is great and the staff is great. Do not take the vip tour unless you are interested in prepaid vacations. Wine is not a room service item. The liqor in the room is Brandy, Tequila, rum and Scotch. Enjoy the nice food. La huerto is the best. Two resturants you will need to have long pants to eat there. There are tours galore and they try to sell them. Watch out for best day tours if you do not buy a tour. they did not pick us up for our return trip to the airport and it cost us 50.00.
“Wonderful Resort!”
Aventura was a wonderful resort we would definitely return to. The service, food and cleanliness was all exceptional! Our only complaint was with the maid, she would sometimes come very late in the day. Twice we went out for all day tours and came home to a dirty room. Our favorite restaurants were El Greco and Mo Mo No Hana. Much more than you would expect from an all-inclusive. Pay the money and get a massage! My husband & I had the Romantic Couples Massage and LOVED it! Also, having no whining kids around was just the thing we needed for our 1st anniversary. We loved the Aventura and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to anyone!
“I'd love to return for a longer stay”
The hotel grounds were beautiful. There was some construction, but overall it was wonderful. People were friendly and helpful. With the exception of a few well deserved tips, it was absolutely all-inclusive. The only negative comment is the bed was rock hard. If you like that then you will love it all.
“Palace Resorts always comes through.”
I decided to write a review since I depended on the other reviews to make our choice. We just came back from Aventura Spa Palace after an 8 year sabbatical from Cancun. 3 times in Cancun, 3 times at Palace Resorts and we will go no where else. Occupancy was low and I hope that it increases. Fantastic time. Mario, one of the activities guys, kept everything moving. Palace Resorts is the best dollar spent.
