“Great Service”
This hotel is in a great location in Playa Del Carmen, and has a really nice boutique feel. It's close to some of Playa's best beaches. The best part of my experience, though, was how helpful the staff were with helping me find one of my suitcases that the airline had lost. It was great to be able to have that kind of support when traveling in another country. I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Playa.
“Great Stay”
I was hesitant to stay at a place called the Mexican Adventure. But it was great! Our room was spacious and kept spotlessly clean. Pleasant, helpful staff. Nice, simple continental breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, pastries). Also only about 4 blocks to nicest beach in Playa. It's close to all the action in Playa but on the quieter end. I'd stay here again.
“Cozy Hotel & Friendly Staff”
My wife, daughter, and I had a wonderful stay at the Aventura Mexicana. It was only a block from the action on 5th avenue, but still quiet and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back and, except for the sake of variety, will seriously consider staying at the Aventura Mexicana again. The food was great at the hotel as well as the local restaurants, so we were glad we didn't do the "all inclusive" thing.
“Hôtel très confortable”
Charmant petit hôtel, très bon acceuil et gentillesse du personnel. Hôtel est très bien situé au centre de Playa del carmen, à deux pas de la rue commerçante mais au calme. A 400 mètres de la plage, ce qui n'est pas négligeable. Les chambres sont très propres. Le seul bémol que l'on pourrait noter le petit déjeuner. En effet, si vous opter pour le continental vous devrez repayer un petit déjeuner complet si vous souhaitez déjeuner à l'américaine.
“Small, quiet, clean, friendly and comfortable.”
Other than not being as near the beach as we would have liked, the hotel was excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was great. If you are looking for 5 star quality, this may not be the place but if you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere with an authentic Mexico feel, close to all of Playa's attractions, this may be a good choice.
“Wonderful experience!”
This Hotel was very pleasant, quiet, and close to everything. All of the people who work ther deserve a nod. I have not even had people as pleasant at a 5 star resort! We are already planning a trip back next year. If you are looking for a nice boutique hotel than this is for you. If you prefer something w/ more action then this would not be it...
“I would definitely recommend it”
I will definetely recommend this hotel. It was extremely clean and ongoing maintenance was the norm. All staff were courteous and friendly. The restaurant was also very clean, and the food was excellent. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe at the hotel. Definitely a place I would return and even bring small children. The cost was affordable and the location perfect.
“Very Pleasant Stay”
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were a little hard and the cable was a little fuzzy, but who wants to stay in the room all day anyway? We had a very nice stay at a very good price.
“Celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and loved it!”
My husband and I just returned from Playa del Carmen and we cannot wait to return! I would advise anyone who is going to Playa del Carmen to stay in Aventura Mexicana. The layout of the hotel is very beautiful and relaxing. Most of the time we felt like we were the only ones in the hotel, that is how quiet it was! We pretty much had the pool to ourselves the whole time we were there. We stayed in Aventura Mexicana for eight days and we never felt cramped in the room. We had plenty of room for our luggage and our personal things. I really liked having air conditioning and a fan in the room. The small refrigerator also came in handy for storing drinks. If you want to party all you have to do is walk a few blocks down to 5th Ave. where you will find a lot of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. The beach is not too far away either and the hotel will even give you beach towels to take to the beach! Everything is within walking distance from this hotel. Aventura Mexicana truly is a little oasis in Playa del Carmen!
“We love Playa del Carmen!”
This was our 3rd time vacationing in Playa del Carmen. On our first visit we stayed at Aventura Mexicana and really loved it. We stayed at another hotel on our second visit and were pretty diappointed. It was very loud and the service wasn't as good. This year- our 3rd visit we again stayed at Aventura Mexicana and it was just as good if not better than the first time. We love the food at the Mayan Bistro. We ordered breakfast off the menu almost every morning. Our waitresses were fabulous! We also took advantage of the 2 for 1 happy hour most days-love the pina coladas! The nachos and quesadillas were more than enough to tide us over until dinner. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful; all the plants and trees were manicured and very well maintained. We really love the location- just off 5th and not too far from the beach. Very quiet at night and within walking distance to our favorite restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend Aventura Mexicana to anyone planning a trip to Playa del Carmen.
