I stayed here with a colleague for work, and it was quite nice overall. The staff were very helpful, and the room was decent for European standards. Quite a large bathroom, and a nice big window. Although the hotel was quite a distance out of "Old Riga," it was conveniently located right on the tram and bus stop. Additionally, it has a nice restaurant with a great breakfast and a bar on the top floor with bands/musicians every so often. My only complaint is that the walls were paper thin, and some guests on our floor decided to smoke on the one balcony (where it is posted non-smoking), which wafted into our room. Appeared to be taken care of the next day, however.
