It was a $110 night hotel that I paid $170 for. Unfortunate that on Friday breakfast got wiped away with a traveling group of teens. The wasn’t even coffee in the large container. I don’t plan on coming back.

I’ve stayed here many times in the past and this time was the worst. It was an obvious decline in service and accommodations. 1. We arrived at 1:30p and was told NO you cannot check in early, very sternly. That’s fine since there’s a reason usually like rooms not being ready. 2. Not sure if Expedia or the hotel changed the accommodation, but I wanted two beds. I got a single bed. I went to ask for a room change and pay for an upgrade. I was told no. No accommodations could be made. Fine. 3. The room was warm and air wasn’t working properly overnight. 4. The sink stopped up and toilet ran all night. When we got up to use the bathroom in the morning, the toilet overflowed to the point where water was pouring out. My daughter and husband went to relay it to the front desk and was told that someone was on the way. I went down twenty mins later and the receptionist said, “we’re aware. He’s on his way in.” I said, “I don’t think you understand. The water is pouring out and it’s over half the carpet.” She insisted it was fine. I told her we needed to get ready and be out by 9am because we had a funeral to attend. The manager, I’m assuming, says they will reassign us to a room and did. This was 8am. We got into the room and noted the tub was left with a dirt ring. When I went to clean it out, I noticed it was stained. At the end of the night, I used the washroom and it wouldn’t flush. I sent down to ask for a plunger (for simple tissue) and they said no. The maintenance room isclosed

I apologize about the confusion surrounding the room type booked, most major hotel chains have a default booking option which is any room type that is available. When booking you can put in a request for what room type, you’d like but it is based on availability. Your booking was made for the default booking and unfortunately due to high occupancy we were unable to move you into a room with two beds. This is also what caused us to be unable to check you in an hour and a half before the posted check-in time. We try our best to accommodate all of our guests whether it be room changes or early arrivals but sometimes are hands are tied. I’m very sorry to hear about the maintenance issue that occurred, and I am glad that they were able to get you into another room to get ready. As these small maintenance issues are frustrating, they can sometimes be easily fixed, and I truly wish we could have helped you. I had a moment to speak with the staff and it’s my understanding that when they brought you a plunger you denied them access to the room to assist further. I think there may have been some confusion regarding the severity of the situations, and we will be working with the staff on asking more probing questions, so this does not happen in the future. Thank you for your understanding.

3rd floor feels like building is going to fall in. The floor is up then down then back up again. Horribly buckled in spots. Bathtub has soap ring - disgusting. A bullet hole in the window. If we didn’t just get in at midnight we wouldn’t have stayed. We left first thing in morning and cancelled the rest of our stay there.

Nice room set up. Dirty wash cloth in tub, air would not regulate at all. Didn’t have garbage bags. Getting towels for the amount of people in room was a process. Breakfast was good! Staff was friendly and helpful but out of supplies, clean linens is not a fun process!!

Concept of two bedroom was great as siblings were in town together for a funeral. But it was dirty and dated. Went to the front desk to ask for cleaning supplies to at least wipe down surfaces and they told me they couldn’t help me and that I should go to Walmart to buy some cleaning supplies. Told the manager the next day and he seemed genuinely concerned but offered no compensation, points, etc. won’t be back.

Service staff was excellent wonderful breakfast, nice and clean rooms but only had one problem with the weekend management Sunday morning. A storm came through overnight, lightning stick knocking out hot water Saturday night, no one was told that there was no hot water also had a problem getting towels the same morning. Yet no one instructed us of the Hot Water problem until after calling preparing to shower before leaving.

Great stay!
Our stay was great! We loved the remodel - everything looked amazing, and I loved the blue doors. Breakfast was very good - eggs, sausage, waffles, scones, all kinds of offerings. The room was very nice and clean. I definitely recommend this place!!

The lady at desk I assume she is the owner the way she acts. Was totally rude and unprofessional. Very impatient and judgmental! I book my daughter a room every year though Expedia and this is the first year I was told we could not book into an establishment because the card I used was not present. My sister name was on the room and everything was paid for. She would not allow her to use her own form of payment for incidentals which were (that was way too high) so I left work Drive 45 minutes for her to tell me now her card machine did not work. I’m not sure what game she was playing but it was way to late in the lobby with teenage girls to be this petty. I spent an hour there until Expedia was able to cancel the room and book me into another Hotel with no problem at all. She was terrible if she didn’t want the teenagers there she should have said that instead of waist an hour of excuses as if we had no money but let an older white couple check in no problem. Worst part about it she was black that’s sad !

I was nervous about what our experience would be like because prior to booking I had called to ask questions about the “cash deposit” listed on this website and received a rude response from the lady who answered. However, when we got here Justin at the front desk was exceptional! He was quick to get us a key to our room, very friendly, and helpful. The room was amazing…probably the best I have ever stayed in. Cleanliness was as expected. Overall I’m so glad that I decided to follow through with booking after the initial interaction because the hospitality we received from Justin and the facility overall was better then I could have imagined.

I didn't like that after check in I got the grandkids ready to swim and that takes a lot, bathing suits, sunscreen, etc. We went down and they excitedly jumped in and began to play. After about 10 minutes a man comes running out waving his arms telling them to get out! He had just put acid in the pool. Why was there no sign posted, the gate not locked, something to let us know to stay out! I got them out and in the shower. The lady at the front desk had no idea when it would be safe to swim. Why would you not put chemicals in the pool after swim hours? This happened at 3:30 in the afternoon. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was so the grandkids could swim. I ended up with very whiny, disappointed kids who were unable to use the pool.

Starting from check in the lady we were greeted by was pleasant enough, check in was fast and easy. The room though was not up to any cleanliness standards. There were multiple private part hairs in the bed and shower, the tile and laminate floors have not been cleaned in who knows how long, and the ac unit had old fries and what looked to be mold or mildew growing in it, which made the room smell. The hotel looks like it had been updated recently, but has not been cleaned since that update. For a family with a toddler wanting to play on the floor, it was not a good experience. Breakfast was decent but just the thought of how awful the room was made us question how clean the kitchen area was. My tip is to save your money and go 5 min up the road to Madison and stay at a hotel there. Much nicer area.

I didn’t like how you had to pay An extra fee once you checked in it should be included once you book and it’s $100 that’s a lot of money I never heard of no hotel that does that I would’ve never booked
