“Quaint place on the edge of downtown”

Stayed here because I thought it was closer to my meeting location than it actually was, but it was fine. The service was really great - the front desk staff, helped me locate my destination, and the hotel was obliging when I needed to cancel my last night's stay on short notice. The breakfast was standard british fare: good to steel you for the day. The pub across the street is good for dinner, though can get busy and doesn't have proper service - you have to have a stake out to get a table, and then fight your way to the bar to order drinks and food, but its a decent and lively place.
