Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Wish we had stayed longer to be able to try spa and restaurant. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms well finished and comfortable. Perfect location to twickenham for the rugby.

Overall a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cosy feel. Although, they are over priced in charges for room service, but it is a good location and plenty of places near by for food and shopping, and sightseeing.

On arrival was unable to find parking place, the number of places seems totally inadequate for a hotel of such stature. This may have been due to the fact that the hotel was packed with guests and visitors for a wedding that day which swamped the facility. Subsequent days were much better. The hotel itself was excellent and our room was everything to be desired. Breakfast service was top rate and efficient and were we very happy with our time there. I selected the hotel for its position to Richmond Park, just a stroll across the road and we were in. It was also within easy walking distance of the Thames and Binghams were we lunched one day, while the tube up to town for evening shows was also a simple walk away with good service throughout. A most enjoyable break.

Not globalized hotel, typically old british style. Very corteous personnel. The view from Richmond Hill and the park only a few meters away from the hotel. In London and yet in the countryside.

Great Little Hotel! The staff was exceptionally nice! I would definetely stay at this hotel again. Located in quiet and beautiful Richmond, this hotel is about a 30pnd taxi to Heathrow It does not have direct views of the Thames from the hotel rooms but my room had a beautiful view of gorgeous local Richmond homes and gardens in the back (room312), very peaceful and quiet hotel! Beautiful Richmond Park is right outside hotel door and Kew Gardens just down the street. The staff was very accomadating there are plenty of lovely little side rooms stuffed with books to read so you don't feel conspicuous sitting in the main lobby. They also have large swimming pool and where very generous about using it. Must warn there are no elevators and so you have to bring your suitcases yourself, I'm sure if you were elderly or hurt someone could help you, but they don't have a bell boy. This would not prevent me from staying there in the future. Also the bed had an extremely comfortable down like comforter that I have only found in hotels that are rated much higher or that are much more expensive. The rooms come equipped with an iron and ironing board, a hote tea and coffee kettle (you don't even have to order room service for coffee in the morning) with all the coffee and tea makings hair dryer. The hotel has a great restaurant with 24 hour room service. This hotel is a fantastic bargain! I love it and will definetly stay again. Thank you to the professional staff for my great visit!!!

Great hotel and staff. Clean & well maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff. In terms of location, opposite the beautiful terrace gardens and immediately adjacent to Richmond Park, you couldn't ask for more. Good transportation. 371 bus will take you to & from Richmond train station, if your don't fancy the 15 minute walk. Not the place to experience a good English breakfast. There are options, including a number of good cafes in the neighborhood. Not the cheapest hotel, but still good value for money. I have stayed there 6 times in the last four years.
