“Needs to work on details”
The Jefferson is a beautiful hotel. Attention to the needs of their guests would make staying there even better. I wrote a letter to the hotel manager complementing one of his staff (the reservation lady) and at the same time criticizing the concierge staff. I never heard from him. The room was great, the front desk staff was great, the accomodations at the hotel are great, but little things should be addressed. There should be a doorman to help guests get into the hotel. Guests should not have so much trouble obtaining dinner reservations. We ordered 2 glasses of house wine at the bar before we had dinner and we received a bill for $24. Pretty expensive. Dinner was good and the staff was fine.
