“I would go back but wouldn't be a first choice”

I did have some issues and I think the service could have been better I asked for my bedsheets to be changed the anwser that I got was. Housekeeping is not available at this time we can bring you a set of clean sheets but you are gonna have to change them yourself.... I was shocked and the breakfast buffet lacks of things to choose from other than that the place is very modern and charming

“Terriffic Experience!”

The hotel itself is wonderful - clean, tastefully furnished, and comfortable. The bathroom was large and the beds were amazing. The surrounding area was full of interesting things to see and do (lots of shops, including and adjoining "Dick's Sporting Goods", and a quaint little streetscape behind the hotel, completed with brick paved walkways). My only difficulty was in finding the hotel - the directions available on the website are not very specific. Overall, my stay was a wonderful experience!

“Good place, bad air vent”

Very nice hotel. Weird placement of air vent that had cold air blowing directly on the top of the bed.

“Be careful what you say?!”

My husband and I chose this hotel because it was close to the Richmond Coliseum where we attended a concert. My husband had stayed here once before on business and was impressed. It was comical that when we checked in, the hostess spelled out the ground rules of the hotel which included "no partying in your room" and there was a $250.00 extra charge if you smoked in the room. The closer we got to our room the stronger the smell of smoke became. When we went in I immediately sat down on the couch and felt my foot hit something under the ottoman. To my shock, it was an open beer can and someone had definetely been "smoking" something in there. I carried the beer can downstairs and gave it to the hostess while parroting her rules. She was speechless but did have someone come in and spray the room for the smoke odor. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. Other than the lecture of partying in your room and finding a beer can (which was more funny than anything), everything was great. They had a superb breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would stay here again.

“Find the hotel!”

Good new hotel, great bedroom, smart decor, helpful staff and a nice bar. It only took a little finding, as it is set back from the highway and attached to a shopping mall. ....oh and they had slightly changed the name!
