“Decent hotel, would stay there again.”

Stayed here for 2 nights on a weekend. The location in Richmond wasn't the most convenient for us as we had to walk quite a bit to get to a lot of bars/restaurants. Parking wasn't too bad, 10 dollars a night in the garage adjacent to the hotel. Everything in the hotel was pretty modern, except the elevators leading to the parking garage which were a bit decrepit. Front desk staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Breakfast buffet was average for overprice hotel food. Overall I had a pleasant stay here.

“Stay here but eat elsewhere”

The room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. I didn't feel like driving and don't think there's much within walking distance for good eats so had dinner (which wasn't too bad but not great) in the hotel. I prepaid for the buffet breakfast with my room and would recommend NOT doing this. The food on buffet is high fat, high sugary processed food. I opted for the made-to-order omelette which was awful...barely edible. Better to go with a-la-cart and try for real food.

“Good Stay”

Easy to find from I-95 we were able to use the hotel as a base for a walking tour of Richmond. We had dinner in the bar on the ground floor, which was good.

“Nice hotel, close to sites”

The staff were very helpful in resolving a problem with the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent. However, travelers should be aware there are no cots in the hotel, so you cannot fit an extra person in a room.

“Pleasing”

We enjoyed our stay with the hotel. We especially liked the shuttles that took us places.

“Crown Plaza jet ok”

The pillows we not comfortable enough. The sheets kept coming off the bed. The toilet almost over flowed and the ice machine on our floor was not working. The hotel itself was average but I think with some improvements it could be really nice given its downtown location.

“Not what I expected”

My sister and I stayed as we were attending a show at the landmark and it was very close. The Bell Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. When we got to our room there was a strong odor. They sent maint. up and they removed an air freshner from the ac/heat unit but didn't seem to help. We let it go because we were too tired to request a room change. Room service was really good, just way over priced.

“Not a bad place.”

Had to stay here since the Omni was booked. There were no stores close to the hotel and only one restaurant that was good. Went to the breakfast buffet in the hotel and it wasn't worth the cost. The hotel was close to canal walk which was nice. It was easy to park in the hotel parking garage. No wireless Internet in the rooms. There was plug in Internet but couldn't get it to work.

“Not to bad at all lol”

I enjoyed my stay there. The only issue I had was that room service was slow and they would forget half the stuff they were supposed to send with everything you got and then when you would mention hey you forgot the cream and sugar for the coffee it would take another 30 min to get it, so it was not worth using that service. But overall it was not bad. The food in the restaurant is not the greatest but there are some amazing restaurants surrounding this hotel:)

“Disappointed”

The room was clean with new furnishings. The tub needs replacing due to rust stains and the new shower handles had been recently replaced but never caulked, so the water was running down inside the wall. The staff was friendly and the location perfect for our weekend retreat for the Richmond Folk Festival. The big problem, and for a couple celebrating their aniversary, was that we could hear normal conversations from the rooms on either side of us when our room was quiet, meaning they could hear ours as well. The doors connecting the rooms did little to suppress this noise. We expected more privacy than that, especially at club level.
