Located right on the beach in a blue-flag awarded area next to the famous monument of Kalithea Springs and just 8 km away from Rhodes town, the newly built 5 star Elysium Resort and Spa stands in a class entirely on its own. “Best in area”
This was an excellent hotel with high standards of cleanliness, large rooms. The service and food were excellent with great buffet breakfast. Excellent facilities with a great swimming pool. Location ideal being only a few miles from Rhodes town with bus service stopping directly outside hotel.
“Beautiful Hotel and great Base for RhodesTown”
This hotel is brand new, the rooms are stylish and large and most look our over the pool and sea. Yes the drinks are epxensive but its a 5 star. There is nothing in the vicinity of the hotel but the bus to Rhodes town stops outside the hotel and Rhodes town is a lovely place to eat on an evening. There is a local taverna if you follow the path out over the headland and keep going along a small road. We ate fresh fish grilled on the huge BBQ and sat next to the sea, a world away from the 5 star hotel surroundings but lovely food and a feeling of being in the "real" Greece for a night. Only slightly annoying is the pebble beach, another reviewer said they need to build a pontoon out and I agree, that would make entering the water slightly less painful. Overall we would go back to this hotel if we were to vist Rhodes again and will be recommending it.
“LUXURIOUS HOTEL”
Amazing and luxurious hotel and very good prices in October. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Views were great. Shower was probably the best I've ever had! Bathroom was very large and spacious. Beach and pools were also great. The included breakfast was also delicious... tons of choice - champagne and omelette station! The hotel also had a bus stop right outside of it so you could very easily hop on to go into Rhodes Town - extremely convenient. Just wish we had more time there!
“Modern, luxury, quiet”
We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights, took the breakfast option only. Very nice, modern hotel. Beach is a bit rocky, but very nice. Beach bar was the best - great to have a beer late in the afternoon on the beach - great service. You need to rent a car when going to Rhodes to really see it. There are many other lovely beaches and sites to see. Kallithea springs is just up the street (walking distance)- beautiful place, great pizza! Just like pizza on College street in Toronto. In the other diection (by bus, 1 euro) go to Farilkili beach (sorry about the spelling), crowded, but fun to watch everyone and very nice sandy beach. Many other sites on the island. Great hotel to come home to at the end of the day. Go into town for dinner, the hotel is dead at night.
“Excellent beach hotel”
Excellent beach hotel in all respects. First class service and attention to detail. Location is superb: close to but not in Rhodes and therefore easy access to rest of island.
