Nice property right on the Rhein, and close to an S-Bahn and the Altstadt. Only little issue was that I found the room cold, and the heat wasn’t very responsive, but we were brought an extra duvet so all fine.

Loved the location on the river and ability to easily walk along the river feeling safe. Also the ability to walk into the town of Mainz and find cafes all along the way. The food in the hotel restaurant was quite good with a wonderful breakfast buffet and friendly service. Sitting outdoors was very pleasant as well.

A great hotel! IT was just a weekend getaway basically next city over. While the hotel has the retro look and is probably a little older than some of the neighboring Hyatt's it was well maintained and extremely clean. We arrived 2 hours before check-in and they said no problem your room is ready. Super easy check-in and check out, nice breakfast. We left the next day after a little shopping and a lot of relaxing with our batteries recharged. We will be back in the Spring when there is not snow and ice on the ground to enjoy more of the local surroundings.

Great hotel with wonderful food
Very well maintained hotel with great service and extremely good food. I have stayed here a few times for business and it hasn’t disappointed yet. I look forward to the breakfast every trip.

We loved that it was right on the river and a very nice walkway. I wished the weather would have cooperated and the boats were functioning.

wonderful hotel -- excellent food and view
My room was Rhine-view and it was wonderful, floor to ceiling windows. The bed was very comfortable, and all the features very modern and in good repair. The food is excellent (there are several eating options), although it can be hard to get a dinner reservation. My one problem was that the bathtub was very high up, and with a slippery bottom, it made getting out a bit dangerous. I would definitely stay here again.

It was really a bad experience. Terrible ! We have paid 19€ for a parking place at Hotel but at the end of the day the parking was full!!! So we have to find another parking ! Many of the staff are not professional and Friendly . They don’t explain you correct all of the information. I have booked via Expedia and the room was already paid but at the end (checking out) they ask me to pay for my room! But i show them that is already paid! They blocked 50€ of my deposit and it was blocked until 4 days later so i ask them via email to unblock my deposit! At the check out i ask them to give me the recipe (a confirmation that show that everything is paid) but they don’t accept that ! They says it because i booked this room via expedia! ) It's really strange! I am a traveler and i am always a gold /silver member of expedia but i have never seen a 5 or 4 star hotel like this hotel! Really disappointed!

It was never our intention to leave you feeling that way, as we always like to see that you, as our guest, are in good hands and are satisfied. Please accept our sincere apologies that this has not been the case. You can be assured that we have already discussed your feedback within our team and discovered that you were checked in and out by trainees, who are still learning and are perhaps not yet fully confident and experienced in dealing with guests. However, we very much regret the fact that you believed them to be neither professional nor friendly. Regarding the deposit, we understand your disappointment about the fact that it was blocked for four days, however, this is due to the bank and not to us. We are also very sorry that you did not find a parking space in our garage and therefore had to find alternative parking. Please let us know where you had to pay the €19 as it did not appear to have been charged to your bill. Again, our sincere apologies for the disappointment.

I love the location of this property right on Rhein and not too far from the Markt. The carpeting in our room is looking a little thread bare, but all in all, it is a great place to stay while in Mainz.

The comfort and the location in the hotel was great as expected. The breakfast buffet with all the necessary covid-19 precautions was fantastically organized, allowing for the relaxing experience. The only issue that i encountered was an inconsistency of the room description: there was no wired internet available, as well as no coffee machine/kettle available.

Nice check in staff. Room was very nice with view of river. Had a small fridge. Club level was nice with 1800 snacks downstairs. Windows are soundproof which is good on Saturday nights. Parking garage is nice. Breakfast was good.
