This hotel was terrific! It was really quiet-the beds were comfortable and the quilts were warm. The room looked out on a vineyard. We had breakfast included and it was fresh and very good.

Lovely hotel very clean and quiet area. They whole hotel needs an update as it’s looks a bit worry down.The only problem we had were other guests who waken us up every morning with loud noise in the corridor .

Die Zimmer sind neu und komfortabel. Dies ist ein Pluspunkt. Der Rest sind Minuspunkte. Der Gestank an der Rezeption und im gesamten ersten Stock ist unerträglich. Auf der gleichen Etage befindet sich ein Buffet. Frühstück ist nicht möglich. Ich möchte schwärmen. Gepufferter Service ohne Respekt vor Gönnern

Should be better.
The room and the hotel seems old, and could use some remodelling. I had to pay extra to use the gym and sauna area, and the sauna was not working in the morning, you would need to let them know 30 mins ahead so they turn it on.

The restaurant didn't serve dinner. The bar service was very relaxed in being around to take your order. Staff was very nice.

An ok hotel but tired.
An hotel that should have been revamped when taken over by the NH group but hasn't. When I stayed there was an intense heatwave and having no air-conditioning in the room or any other space in the hotel it can become quite unbearable to stay. On Sunday the kitchen is closed so no supper possibilities which seems odd nowadays. Last but not least on my arrival day, Wednesday, in the evening a bus arrived with 60 guests and as I was about to have my dinner I was told by the waiter that I had to wait (50 minutes) before I could order because the kitchen staff (2) and the waiters (2) could not handle the service of 60 newly arrived guests. A rather disappointing experience and one which I shall not repeat in this town.

Overnight business trip. Avoid the restaurant, food is not great and the service is terrible. Rooms have no aircon and are pretty basic. Also if you need to book a taxi, they need 1h notice.... which is pretty ridiculous... tram stop is about 10 mins away.

Good hotel
This is a wonderful hotel for a wonderful price. The staff is multilingual and very friendly; the restaurant is very good; the rooms are decent (but not sound proof as stated on the website). It is also walking distance to a gas station, a grocery store, a couple of atm machines, and several restaurants. I would definitely stay here again & I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

Easy location to stay for a quick overnighter.
Easy spot to stay driving through town. 20minutes front heidelberg but easy to park at hotel and stay for one night. Not a lot nearby the hotel but there is a supermarket across the road. Clean and tidy rooms, very comfortable

Nice little hotel tucked inside a small neighborhood. Overall, the hotel was clean, fairly modern, and offered great amenities and service. I was very happy with the stay.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good, variety excellent. We requested a 3 persons room, and we got just a double room with an extra bed, almost no room to move. The room was at the bottom floor next to the parking, so all night we heard cars open and closing doors, very unconformable. Very ba experience We requested other room and they said that was too hot in the other side with bette view to the fields. No Airconditioning, only a ventilator. We do not recommend this hotel

Nice hotel
This hotel is about 6 miles north of Heidelberg, about 20 minutes drive. We found it to be comfortable, with a good sized room - our first experience of an NH hotel. Within easy reach of Heidelberg, Heidelberg Castle and funicular, and Aldstaat Bridge (the famous old bridge - pedestrian only). Be prepared to queue for the most popular car parks in Heidelberg (such as the Kornmarkt - above the road tunnel!!)

We never stayed at the hotel.
They were supposed to provide a handicap accessible room with a handicap accessible shower. The hotel we were supposed to stay at did not have that room for us so we never checked in. And EXPEDIA has yet to remedy the situation!

The room was great, big enough for 2 pax. Staffs are friendly and helpful not to forget the excellent breakfast every morning.

VERY noisy hotel !!
The hotel was nice, but really busy. It took over an hour to get extra pillows, and the hotel is VERY noisy with airplane traffic...you hear the planes until 10-11, and they start up again around 5 am. Definitely not a hotel to stay at if you want to sleep

A Return Customer!
This was a nice quiet place! It had a great parking area, felt safe with the family, lovely dining options, and nice location. The Wifi worked well... we had no issues. The beds were comfortable too! We were given a smoking room, but we couldn't even tell until we left with the picture on the wall (nice surprise as non smokers). They also have a lovely outdoor sitting area.

Slightly tired hotel. Staff very helpful, nice big room but unfortunately no air-con, however a fan was provided and the hotel is in a quiet location. Great breakfast and very easy to drive to Heidelberg.

does what it says on the tin.Could not log into wifi in room despite several attempts. A kettle and tea facilities in the room woulds make a big difference to me. Overall would recommend it as a good base for travel in germany

I visited this hotel for a total of 3 nights and stayed in the premier inn express for 2 nights in nearby Heildleberg the good points are as follows 1. Relatively cheap compared to hotels in near heildelberg I paid €75 a night compared to €375 a night for the premier inn express 2. The buffet breakfast is very impressive and is far superior to a lot of 4star hotels with €300 a night fees 3. Food and beer was very cheap with a good lager costing €3.50 a pint The negatives are as follows 1. The plugs in the room are in very awkward locations little thought was given in there layout and in some instances if you are charging multiple devices you may have a device being charged on a floor. 2. The free wifi is poor in speed and reliability . A premium service can be purchased for €6.60 a day 3. The TV in your room will be an old crt set 4. It is situated in a small village outside heildleberg with only one pub a supermarket and another hotel in the village so for any entertainment or if you do not want hotel food then heildelberg which is approximately 20 minutes away on a tram is your best bet. 5. No air conditioning but and I stayed when the temperature was 35C but some how the fan they provided in the room made the room comfortable and I suspect we I did have to open the windows

We made it to the hotel before our reservation had posted...the hotel staff was very gracious in providing rest and refreshment while we waited. Very nice breakfast to keep you going through a full day.

Dirty hotel probably a 3 star at best
Dirty room. Only one high chair in entire hotel. Only one children's cot/ crib in entire hotel despite me emailing in advance. Windows were dusty, dirty towel behind sofa bed. Old tired decor - certainly not a 4 star by any stretch. Internet too complicated to access so gave up. V poor.

The location of the hotel is in a rural village without any dining options in walking distance. Hotel visit was in January and was told the chef was not working and hence restuarant had limited menu (the bartender was the chief). Internet service (Swissair?) was horrible - keep droping connection (even for the for paid service). Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean but very small for a 6'0" / 235 lb male. Limited TV (english speaking) and there is only so much of CNN.

Almost impossible to find in spite of a Sat-Nav. Badly advertised from the main road , so we turned around three times in order to eventually find it. The approach is through a small housing estate rather than off the main through route. Room good, staff extremely helpful. A good place to stay if you can find it, but not if you are on a route north as it is rather too far north of Heidelberg to return to the city.

Very good hotel for Heidelberg
We couldn't get a room in Heidelberg for love nor money, and booked this simply because it was the nearest we could find. Turned out to be very nice indeed - excellent staff, nice comfortable room, clean, excellent breakfast included, and only fifteen minutes drive from Heidelberg, and nice rural views from our side of the hotel. If you don't have a car, there is a tram stop opposite for very quick ride into town. Highly recommended compared to over-priced Heidelberg hotels.

Nice Hotel
Room seemed very clean, was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The only thing I thought odd was that we had t pay for the third bed for a room booked for 3 adults. Hallway was a little noisy starting at 5am.

THE HOTEL IS CONVENIENT OFF THE AUTOBAHN AND A GOOD STOP OVER FOR A NIGHT IF DRIVING ACROSS GERMANY. ROOMS ARE CLEAN, BUT CAN BE A BIT NOISY IF A TOUR BUS IS STOPPING OFF THE SAME NIGHT. BREAKFAST TOP SHOW.
